Finna take advantage of the slush to relearn and learn some stuff. And like Riley said, if they actually want more people, they'll come back on a weekend when everyone is there.

You may have better rails, but our jump game is top. So I guess that kinda evens it out, doesn't it?

Also, the new build looks sick. They put a landing on the pyramid and rebuilt the rest of the lower section according to the facebook pictures. New pipe cut looks better too. Hopefully it's actually vert now. Stoked for this weekend. Just need to get over this cold.
 
Nope still sucks. The left side was baking all day, and the last 2 feet of it are like straight up and down, so whenever i hit it, i just leaned way forward and ate shit. As for the right side, its a block of ice but you can still hit it just fine.

Vertical is a good thing... The problem has been that it's under vert so you just land on the deck if you go above it.

But who can give me a ride one day this weekend? I can't drive two days in a row. I just can't do that shit.
 
for me it wanted to either put me on the deck, or push me out into the pipe. could be doing it wrong though, have not skied pipe in 4 years
 
He actually kind of makes a good point. Far from the equator, and in the mountains, it's really hard to get even coverage because the sun never goes directly overhead during the winter.
 
the park is on point other than the pipe. Its the worst pipe i have ever skied, rock patches in the middle and over vert.

 
This. I was starting to jam it later in the day. It has lots of potential. Wish the landing was a bit better but its for sure better than it was where it was before.
You were murdering that feature yesterday.
 
not to mention the fact that the sun is always moving... even if it were directly overhead, it would be for a few minutes at most, then back to baking one wall at a time.

My original comment was mostly regarding the complaint of the pipe being "straight up and down". How are you supposed to air straight up and land on the same wall if the pipe isn't vert? It would shoot you out onto the deck every time if it wasn't?

 
maybe i worded it wrong. i was just saying that it seemed like over vert, to where it kinda threw me back into the flat of the pipe.. but that was just me i guess
 
On Sunday? All I know is the dude who fucked his face on the last medium jump was having seizures and shit right afterward, and probably broke his nose. Pretty sure they called an ambulance for him.
 
yea thats the guy i was talking about. i was on brooks and saw him seizing up. well i thought he was, and i guess i was right.
 
Isaac was there and that's what he said. Took them forever to scrape his ass off the knuckle too... Damn... We need a sign at the top of the park that says "pop or die". So many goobers going in at the wrong speed and just riding off onto their asses. I almost landed on one dude and had to give out yet another lesson on park etiquette. Good thing I'm nice...
 
They really either need to widen the gap between the two snow fences on the mid size line or build areas where people can leave the set if they fuck up. 2/5 will hit the first 3 jumps and then just roll over all the rest of the knuckles so there will be this train of knuckle rollers getting in your way
 
were you wearin a flannel? I saw a guy in the medium line almost land on a dude and the guy that almost landed on the dude was like "Hey, get over here right now!" and you talked to him on the next knuckle. If that was you, then good job. you almost jibbed that dudes dome
 
The worst is the gapers who are coming off the medium line and cutting into the landing of Junks. Someone's gonna get messed up.
 
This, they should rope that off. There is no reason why you should go that way, there is an entrance to the lower area down and to the right.
