but on another note, on saturday there was up hill winds and shitty snow and all three jumps were hitable. granted you couldnt stop from the top of the park.

It is 100% my fault i bougt lines. there is no deniing that. But it is not my fault i cant get speed to hit jumps.
I even got my speedymctuckerson on and still.
 
Honestly, I've been happy with the way that the park has been going. David, Greg, DJ and the rest of the park crew have done a good job with an area of the mountain that has a weird, inconsistent slope. Add to that the wacky snowfall/rainfall and I'm not surprised that the park is becoming difficult to maintain/handle. Stevens is not a park resort and won't be for some time (if ever). There are things I'd like changed, and improvements I would like to be made, but complaining on NS will get nothing done. If you really want to see things improve try talking to Greg/David like adults and explain what you'd like to see changed/improved and offer any insights into how to make it happen.

Line sucks because their bases are super fucking slow. and riley if Lauren can get speed you should be able to.

Your writing ability is worse then your ability to clear jumps.

It is closed because there is 15 ft of snow on parts of the road. That 15 ft is heavy snow too.

Despite what ski companies want you to believe, your base material isn't going to have as big an impact as your technique. Tucking alone won't give you enough speed. Other things like weight distribution, pop, aerodynamics, etc. all matter more. I mean, I can clear them pretty easily, and I'm not exactly a big guy. And I consider myself to be a pretty shitty park skier...
 
What was your question? Factions break fast and have bad base and edges. Liberty has quality skis and materals. Dose that answer it?
 
Seeing as the road won't even be open until 2pm, the park itself definitely won't be open.

I'm bummed too, but if we can't even get to the hill, we can't make anything happen. Additionally, we have no idea what this 4" of rain has done to the setups. So that will probably take more time to fix.
