PSA: Driving to Stevens tomorrow. Leaving Seattle 11am. All are welcome for the ride up, but I won't be returning to Seattle until Friday. If you need a ride back you should arrange that beforehand. I hear cobracommander is actually a nice guy when he's not behind a computer monitor...

so i want to make stevens my home mountain maybe this spring and more likely next season.

-cheap lodging suggestions? sleeping in the back of a car won't work all the time...

-possible tricks to getting a cheaper pass? im already looking at going spring pass so i can get cheaper seasons next year but if theres anything else...

any general advice is appreciated, and keep in mind that i live in olympia.

Um you may be able to find somewhere to stay in Leavenworth? Other than that just sleep in the back of your car and just deal with it. Stevens has got nothing in terms of motels really near it.

talk to David. There are rooms you can rent out in Skykomish. The price likely isn't doable for just you, but if you get some friends together you can chip in on your own little slice of ski bum heaven.
