Landing is flat on Junks (but the jump is still excessively fun), but has been steepened on Juniors. Winter storm warning next couple days? So much mortar potential.

And David I dont know about you but there has been a significant lack in bringing the backcountry to the backcountry. I haven't even put crampons on my feet yet let alone on my hands.
 
Larry Schick predicts a good week ahead:

Cold Smoke Powder Ahead.

Great pattern setting up with a 500 ft snowlevel for the next few days. Perfect balance of moisture and cold - expect champagne powder. Quality will be as good as it gets in the Cascades with a respectable 15-24" in the next 48 hours. Dry powder with moisture ratios low; in the 6-8% range, as good or better than Utah and Colorado. Expect to see lots of classic six-sided dendritic flakes, indicating low humidity and cold snowfall. My only hesitation is wind could start blowing, but right now, I think we are good.

Tuesday: 4-7" new in the morning - 3-6" during the day

Wednesday; 5-9" new, 2-4" during the day

Thursday: 1-4" new.

My pick is Wednesday - but it will all be good - even the groomers will be excellent

It's gonna be mighty fine, worth calling in sick. Take lots of pictures. Ya don't want to miss this one.

Best pow day iv ever had, snow was sooo light and deep. I was getting multiple faceshots every run, all day, D:
 
Today at the top of D.D I saw a dude with snowblades without goggles, and he had a backpack with john cena all over it. hahah
 
Best day I've had all year at Stevens.

Nipple deep in places. I heavy headed a weird cliff landing and put my face in the snow without bending my waist.

This is just what we need to build out Brennan's and make proline HUGE. You guys and gals will soil your dainty underwear when we get Pro Line to full size this year.
 
Oh my god today was incredible. Grace Lakes was chest deep in parts, couldn't see skiing down. Absolutely epic, one of my best pow days ever. So much fun!
