I just heard from the rail builder at Steamboat that there will be 14 new rails and they all will be pretty big, and the ones from last year will be up too. They are also throwing in a new sound system and are expanding all across the bowl on the one side of the park. So sick!

Also, early season we have planned a proper size rail park. 11 Days, people. on what some people could see as a bad thing, SoBe has signed a deal with us because we're a Pepsi mountain, to name the rails after their drinks and color 'em. ::gasp:: that means we could get a pink rail!!! Lizard Lava!!!

yeah, i knew they were expanding to ALL of Bashor and i knew about the new system, but didn't know about the rails...i'm stoked. i wish they would make the pipe a little bigger than 15' walls tho, oh well, i guess it's kinda restricted to the pipe cutter you have

it shouldnt matter tho, we are supposed to have a superpipe. you know what we do? LYNCH JOHN ASTA!!!!!!!!!! BRING BACK SPENCER!!! (someone who actually knows how to cut a pipe and build a park) Then we need to trip Roger Perricone's big, dumpy ass and tie him up. that way he cant kill us (cause he could!) and he doesnt have any say in the events and maintainance and can't coddle to all the gay racing and NASTAR.... oh wait!!! NO more nastar, in bashor at least.

Halla! Roger Perricone has no idea what is going on. All he cares about is fucking racing. If our mountain had any sense in themselves they would look to see where the money, talent and steez are at. There is such mad progression in the park/pipe that we need our mountain to head in that direction...

I heard from briggs that we are supposed to have an s rail and a waterfall rail, which is a trapazoid rail that keeps going down farther then a normal one. I also heard that Spencer is moving to try to be a pro snowboarder so i dont think that he is going to be doing the howelson pipe.

just in tonight from dad, voice of Steamboat: opening with 7 lifts but im too stupid to remember how many trails, sorry. also, colin got to go up today with Winter Sports Club and ski Vagabond, no rocks or shit conditions to report. just a reminder, Scholarship Day is FRIDAY! $15 tickets and it goes to the winter sports club to put kids through the program in all disciplines, so possibly future skiing pipe olympians ;-)

i didn't see bashor as an open trail or lift, and i think they are sayin 64 trails, best opening in a while....but they better fuckin have some rails to hike

alright ya'll, I got the 411 on Bashor for opening day. They pressed to have some rails setup, but the Head fags decided against it. They are still pushing, but as of now, no rails folks....I'm super duper pissed. The better half of the news is the confirmation of a new single tubed S-rail, a 40 foot downkink widerail (6 or 7 inches wide I think) and a rollercoaster plus tons more with metal siding. 4 big speakers to light up the halfpipe scene and no ski school. Unfortunately, the Nastar sheit will still be there and running. The pipe has a early projected opening for next weekend. There, that is all I know....Who's skiin tomorrow?

ok, update on the rails. For all the new rails, i heard they just got the materials ordered and sent off to have the rails made it sections elsewhere. Then they have to get the sections back and weld them together....so i'm pretty sure it's gonna be a while on the new rails. all old ones will be up soon i think. as for the halfpipe, i think it's looking like Dec. 6th.

i heard that on the dec. 6 the pipe should be open with some jumps. also the new rails should be coming from denver today so i don't think it will be that much longer on the rails. i heard they would have rails open thanksgiving but i don't think that is true if they have to weld them together.

the pipe looked damn good for them only working on it for a few days. especially since the mountain was fingering their damn pussies last year getting that pipe open. think monday!!!!

we built one up there today (sat.) up there. We had problems with speed but if you take some salt you could have an alright jump with no snow throwing just salt the jump and runway. Stay right coming out of the access gate and follow the ridge line past the antennas and you'll run right into it. If you don't like it you can still find other stuff.

i hiked there, but saw no one for miles and no jumps (on sat)...just wait till they open the backside lift, then hiking will be minimal. anyone fuckin know when they are gonna open bashor for sure, i'm getting really pissed about this

it finally opens tommorow. me and colin went and liked at the four rails they have set up and they have 2 mailboxes, that flat double barrel one, and the down kink with a sweet jump and landing for it. The down kink has like a quarter pipe kicker thing on each side so you can do sick lip slides and stuff. and the quarter pipe looks so sick.

 
i got so fucked up today. i know i caught my tip, but what happened after that? i got a pretty good shot to the head. ugh...
