Yes, but on a per-unit basis the more efficient worker is a more valuable member of society. It's kind of messed up and I don't like it, but it's a simple reality: some people are superior to others.
As for standardized testing, lets ignore for a second that in the long run they don't mean shit, and that people overstate its importance or are generally paranoid about its impact on their lives. Even though they are biased and unfairly judge the capacity of many people, this in itself serves as a legitimate hurdle, however unintended. Not a good test taker? Sit down and become one instead of crying about how the system is unfair. Life isn't fair, and bitching about it or having that defeatist attitude does nothing but reaffirm society's wrongful handicap it places upon you.
These videos are the product of a "me" generation offsetting their responsibilities as a "solution" to what is a valid societal flaw.
tl;dr: Though the system is broken, if you fail it's because you suck, not because of the system.
