So who on NS has actually shot a gun

I just watched turbo and kind of did a double take when Stefan Thomas said he hadn't shot a gun. So I got to thinking.. how many of you guys shoot, have shot or whatnot with guns?

Probably will start a huge debate but I'd like to see it again.

I myself have two 12 guages of my own and a 30-06. I shoot in a trap league at our local club and am an avid duck hunter. And hey guess what? I'm liberal and utterly detest the NRA. But all that aside I want to see the rest of NS and how experienced they are with guns.

I did a lot of bird hunting before I went to college. Own a 12 gauge and a 20 gauge. Pheasant hunting is pretty intense shit especially with those real wild birds running around in the brush and flying at way too fucking fast speeds, less a fan of duck hunting though, too much sitting around and waiting.

i own a 12 gauge berretta and a 243 remington rifle and go hunting a few times a year.
 
i own a benelli 12 gauge, a mauser 8mm, and a henry lever .22LR.. have many other guns though. plan on buying a handgun when i turn 21. grew up in rural MN though.
 
I competed in 12 gauge shotgun shooting for 3 summers, it was some fun stuff. I've shot .22's and a few different types of handguns. I live in Seattle.

yes, but i'm 0 for 2 when shooting at deer =(

most people would have taken 6 or 7 shots during that trip but i'm never gonna be the person to fuck over other gun owners by taking that risk
 
i've shot 30-30s, some other rifle i forget the caliber of because it was a long time ago, .22s, 20 gauges, and i think i shot a 12 gauge way back in the day once, not sure though. its pretty fun, not my favorite activity by any means though.
 
iv shot a bunch of differnent guns.never killed anything(cause i dont like killing) lol but target practice sure is fun!!

i mean living in montana i think every family has at least a few guns.

most people should experience shooting a gun,i went to one of those demo shoots where you pay to shoot guns such as the:m4a1,m16a4,uzi,bar,various handguns,ump45,mp7,m60,and other cool shit.This place where you demo guns is somethin like this:Ihttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UyIiFOuc7z4&feature=related ts is one of the best feeling to hold an assualt rifle and empty a 30 round clip in under 5 seconds.I go hunting and i own a .22,20 gauge,and a 30-30.I plan to register for a concealed weapons permit when i get older.So thats what i got to say.

I shot around at a summer camp. Got a dime shot one time with a .22... Other than that nothing.

I heard shotguns are pretty fun stuff though.
 
i havent shot trap since i had shoulder surgery. i miss it so much. used to go through like a box of clays every week end.
 
my dad got me a huge shot gun for x-mas and we shoot clays together. I also own a pistol, oh and you know how they say a pistol is like having a second penis, they're not lying it kicks ass.

i'll start: 2 moose, a dall sheep, and more ptarmigan than i can count/claim.
 
only once, bout a year ago at my boys camp, shat a handgun (barett mayber?) at a can about 15 feet away. Missed it every shot, so much harder then I imagined.
 
moose and a few caribou. i have had my cross hairs on some wolves before but who wants to eat dog? i have helped pack out elk, deer(whitetail, blacktail, and mule), sheep(dall and bighorn), caribou, and just about every huntable bird species west of colorado. bears, but not so much as hunting them as saving our asses...

i don't own any real guns, just airsoft but i have shot a shotgun, a sniper rifle, and a pistol, it was a while ago so i don't really remember the names of them all i know is that the sniper felt like it blew my shoulder off
 
I go shooting pretty often with my dad and I own a 12 gauge.ive shot: 20 and 12 gauge, .308 rifle, and a 22 when i was younger. My dads not big on handguns.
