if your already good at snowboarding you should be able to switch really easily. my snowboarder friend skiied maybe 10 times this year, and after those 10 days he was able to straight air 45 footers, nose butter, 270 out, switchup, and get pretty steezy 3's on 15 footers. skiing and snowboarding are super similar in alot of ways, skis and snowboards make the same movements to carve, flex similar, feel similar on rails, feel similar in the air. so it should be pretty easy.
my friend wants to totally switch next year, he has 2 sponsors and wins lots of comps, but he said he is sick of the attitude and everything, like with snowboarding people hate way too much and judge you a shitload, and he has talked to a couple pro skiers and he said they are way nicer than snowboarder pro's. which was wierd to hear cause there is a ton of hate on newschoolers and snowboarding almost seems more chill in alot of ways.
his biggest reason was that skiing is changing alot and changing very fast, and its got more oppertunity to be a part of something new.
anyway its pretty cool that snowboarders are siwtching, snowboarding is awesome and all, but its awesome to see skiing get more respect.
