Snow Watch 07/08

So sick at stevens today! Slayed the whole mountain with a nice foot of fluffy goodness. Faceshots were plentiful, and drops were oh so fun. Probaly 3rd track straight down 7th was one of the best runs ever down that way. Gunna have to look alittle harder tomorrow but it's still out there.
 
has anyone else found themselves staring uncontrolably at the Olympics lately? all snowy and sunny? its making driving dangerous i think.
 
God I cannot wait for this weekend. It will have been TWO WEEKS. Friends flaked out last weekend and i cant afford $50 to drive from Ellensburg to Stevens and back. Oh well three days of skiing as long as no one flakes out and we can all crash in Skykomish. Sooooooooooo excited even tho crowds will be a bitch AND i finally get to use my new MOJO 90s. Gonna be siiiiiiiiick
 
Haha, believe it or not, I kinda wanna go check out Hurricane Ridge sometime. Supposed to be pretty on a clear day. Maybe next weekend?

Also, I'm kinda stoked there isnt new snow, I'm really feeling just fucking around in the park and all on my new skis.

I have always wanted to ski in the Olympic Mtns too. I like checking out obscure places. But yeah I am hoping for some snowfall this weekend cause im gonna be using my new Mojo 90s but they should be sick in the park. Cept I wont be hitting any rails on them, I devastated my Mad Trix on rails. So yeah im about to go drive up to Stevens alone cause friends partied all night and dont wanna head to Skykomish til tonight, lazy pieces of shit. Gotta ski with my gf and her friend and im guessing the dudes they are with will be shitty boarders. Should be interesting.
 
Crystal was shitty today, and crowded, and I ended up paying a shit load to ski it Since today was a 'balckout' day. Almost let my lunch on the mountain while hiking silver king.
 
snoqualmie was sick today. sun was out alll day not a cloud in the sky. a little cold in the morning, but besides that it was sick. park is lookin nice right now as well
 
Sweet I get to miss another epic day. I got all ready this morning and call my buddies, ones ready to roll and the other is passed the fuck out. Wont get up and then says his skis are at his cabin. Nice to find that out at 7am huh? After the car is all packed. That this shit man, im pissed.

If you can say a prayer for my buddy's family who lost their 23 yr old son snowmobiling by stevens this weekened. I know he's up there raining down this POW for everyone to enjoy. Think hard while your out there and enjoy the moment cause you never know if it's your last.
