Snow Watch 07/08

I did that twice last year when throwing 3s into Skyline bowl at Stevens. First time I ate total shit and my ski ended up at the bottom of the bowl. No idea how that happened but a patroller came down and said he saw me duck the rope but he was chill about it then he found my ski. Second time I ate shit again and dug forever, prolly an hour to find it. Another time I lost a ski and it somehow ended up in a damn treewell, I almost gave up before finding that one.
 
wanna hear somthing lame that i never thought that i would have a problem with? i have an open seat in my car, and room up at big white/silverstar for a week and none of my friends can go. how is that even possible?
 
I'm using leashes on my mothership from now on. Took me 5 years to find these skis, I'm not risking it. Any other pair of skis of mine I could give a shit.
 
Another option is a really really long streamer that you tuck away like in your boot or something. So when the ski comes off you've got a 10ft flourescent streamer. Although this is 100% garunteed to tell you where the ski is, its better than nothing.
 
Goddammit, I was getting texts all day long coming back from whistler about how good the snow is. I'm going to try and take the entire weekend and monday off, possibly tuesday as well. Problem is, car is in the shop, CEL is on for no apparent reason and that shits no good. So, bummin rides I guess... who wants me?
 
Where you from? If you are still without a car when I get back from Big White im sure I could hook you up with a ride or two to Stevens.

No prob. I might be up there tonight too if my buddy gets off early. Then christmas tomorrow haha cause sunday me and the fam are hitting the road to spend the holidays at Big White. Yeaaaa
 
Man fuck this shit. I was gonna go last night and then friend has to work late. He has to work today too, aight whatever I got two buds who say they will be here at 7:30. I got the car packed and im ready to roll, do they show up? No. I called 5 times and no answer. Fuckin bullshit man, why do people say they are gonna do something and never follow through? Now i got no one to go with so im chillin here since its already 8 and parking will be a bitch this late and i dont wanna pay for all the gas by myself.

Man, at least we are celebrating family christmas tonight and maybe snag some Mojo 90s from this one guy, thatd make me a lot happier. Have fun at Stevens guys, wish I was there.
 
Yeah, last year I had to deal with my friend being hella flakey. He hasnt even bought a pass so far this year, hasnt put on skis, even though he brought them to Whistler last week. I made the decision to just get myself up this season, and with 6 days so far under my belt, I'm glad.

Sucks driving alone tho.
 
Anyone want a ride from Bham to Baker tomorrow? It's a lot nicer driving with somebody, and I don't feel safe parking my car near the 542 anymore.
