25 inches in the last 24 hours at stevens, 20 in the last 12 hours..... Why do i have to have a lab tonight?!?!
 
yeah no kidding, working on presentation stuff, then an exam in like an hour, then i gotta rush off to work.

so lame.

but i get my new camera tonight, so no worries!
 
it was so crowded i would have thought it was a sunday, at least the line for chair 2. no line for amrstrong, but that doesn't matter. i left at 1. everything got skied out crazy fast too :(

there were some amazing lines, and some powder throughout the early afternoon, but damn there were quite a few people. most of the powder got chewed up really fast.

i still found some goooooods though

Last night at about 5 or so, King5 issued a warning for the Kirkland/Juanita area to stay indoors because there was a very low storm blowing through...

so I went outside, it was all green but silent, then wait for it... wait for it..... biggest snow/hail dump I've ever seen, the hail was like 1/2" but not hard, it was soft, and EVERYTHING was covered in like 5 minutes. It went for about 30 minutes, then left. It was so cool!

And now its sunny in teh mountans!!!!!!!
 
yesterday when I drove Christine home there was a bunch of snow or hail or something on the ground but it was definatly a very localized thing... today though I saw some crazy accidents... there was a van on it's side on my way up to stevens and then on my ways from stevens to bellingham, I-5 just stopped dead. and when we slowly crawled to the problem there was like 15 cops and aid cars around and a bunch of motorcyclists all talking to the cops and the I turned on 710 and they said that a car hit a motorcyclist...

today was pretty fun. the snow wasn't very good but were a ffew stashes. the reall fun was on the backside of the spine or the "back bowl" hitting the kikers in there was so much fun. sun pow and easy to hike in

grant i think i saw you skiing solo with the Maidens.

we got SOAKED at hyak today, but sweet lord it was fun.

super crazy fast runs through the trees with lots of rolly polly's, jumpy wumpys, and cat track gappy-loo-la's.

and then i went crazy big on this hip thing, and totally ate shit in front of this old man patroller. I thought he would be mad for jumping, instead he said "you know.... I give that a 6.7" hahahaha
 
hahahah, he said it was the landing that killed the score. and yeah, forward summer sault/near bad knee injury... i'm lucky to even get 6.7.... ouchy

West is closed for the season, Hyak is now closed for the season, this week is the last week for Central (last day sunday) and then Alpental just has one more week....

wow the end of this season snuck up FAST..... skiings gonna end, and I ain't got no girlie, what the fuck is gonna happen?????????????

kevin ruined my ski day today, super sunny, nobody up, park kicks ass, last week its open...... and he fucking breaks his binding on the third run. ASSHOLE.
 
If your serious, $50, must pick up in seattle. Im putting it on craigs list next week. Sucks about the binding, Kevin needs to get his act together with that shit.

Crystal was AMAZING!!!!!!!! They got probably a little over a foot last night, by the time we got back to the car there was about another foot on the ground. SOOO much good snow (this was easily january quality snow) soo much untracked, like NO lines.... oh man.
 
thats too bad...baker was orgasmic. the parking lot was full of vans and shit for all the families who wanted to do the easter egg hunt, but i got soooo many fresh lines. there was a huge line for chair 5 and that whole mtn, but chair 6 was stranded. i was really stoked because i jumped off all the shit that i had been wishing i had done once march ended.

friday was pretty sick too, except the snow was a lot heavier and it was sliding everywhere. that and i almost buried myself while skiing alone on sam's ridge.
