Game seems to be a bit CPU heavy, atleast mine got a bit hotter than with Crysis 3 on high settings haha.

Anyways good game guys, keep up!

dam man i cant get it working on any of my PC's. Does it really require that good of a computer? even on low quality? the guy just flails and falls over the place when i spawn.

my pc specs

Dual Core 3.0ghz

4gb ram

Nvidia GeForce 9500gt 1gb graphics card

i know its not a good gaming pc as i only use my pc for video editing and work but should it run at all?

hit the '~' key and try typing into the console sys_spec 5I did it by accident when trying to change the video settings and it smoothed things up for me.

Just getting a black screen when I load the game, but I can bring the console up. Is there anyway I can start it through the console when the black screen is up?

thanks i tried this and it got me able to play it (with data in the top right corner) but thats ok atleast i could somewhat play but my cpu is pinned at 100% i might have to get a new pc sooner then later

Says I need this.

Graphics: nVidia 8800GT 512MB RAM, ATI 3850HD 512MB RAM or better (SM 3.0 minimum)

Will this do?

Nvidia GEForce 8600M GT

Or should I just stick with Shredsauce?

It will just be a bit choppy.

I play dirt 3 on my lapto, well below the minimum system requirements, and it still runs, but its a bit slower.

can you demo it to see how bad it'll be?

This game is hard. It looks like it'll be loads of fun when I'm good.

But seriously why do you spin with WASD instead of arrow keys? I'd love it if you could have the option to switch those around, because I keep fucking up because of it.

Just the general option to re-arrange the key config to taste would be nice to know how to do. I'd be most comfortable on my 360 controller...

I think that's kind of low. By comparison, here's my slow(ish) laptop specs:

AMD A6 3410MX with Radeon Graphics built on the chipset, Quad Core, ~1.6GHz

8GB RAM at 1333MHz (Was 4GB when bought, upgraded)

AMD Radeon 6520G, 4GB VRAM

The game runs (semi-glitchy) for me after several restarts, but it pins my CPU at 100%, making work up a sweat.

You might need an upgrade. I might suggest upgrading to something like a Hexa-Core.

just a few POV clips I threw together to show you guys what its like. Music is just whatever fraps picked up coming from spotify.

thank you. Yea so i got it working by changing the res to 5. just choppy and keeps my cpu at 100. But im gonna finally get myself something new once i figure out what to get im behind times as to whats good.

the GAME is awesome though! been waiting for something like this to come out.

POV is insane actually, feels/looks pretty real and the graphics overall are great!

but god dam these controls are crazy hard

I would recommend this custom build:

CPU-AMD FX 6300, Hexa-core, 4.2GHz clock speed (pretty fast)

RAM-G.SKILL 8GB (2 x 4GB) 1866

GPU-MSI Radeon HD 7950

Motherboard-ASUS M5A99FX

HDD-Western Digital WD Blue 1TB

Case-Cooler Master Haf 912

DVD Drive- Black SATA 24X DVD Burner

Power Source-CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650

This is a mid-level desktop gaming PC build that can be had for at least $700, which is how much my laptop cost 2 years ago. I was personally planning on building a similar spec rig myself within the next year. Should be able to run most modern games at Med-High settings with 1080p. It's missing a cooling fan which I'd recommend getting just to keep things chill in there.

Should you decide to pull the trigger but need advice, hit me up. I'm currently going through IT schooling so I'm learning a whole bunch about this realm.

shit runs pretty hot, says my gpu was running 65.C while under 99% load (It's a high end NVIDIA GTX580) Cpu running about 80% (Intel i7-960 3.2gHz Quad Core). This was on sys_spec 3 (high)

comments

- I dislike the jump keys, and the down arrow, while under speed, crashes/ejects me if I hit it in the wrong time/combo.

- that stutter/forward lurch is overused about 1000%. It's good when I stumble one something, but every time I try to push along a cat track or get back into a rhythm it stops me and he spazzes out for a while

The NH Operator or whatever nailed a lot of good points in his post
