I feel like snoqualmie isn't really a ski destination that people travel across the country to go to. I would think that a pass life type development would be more successful at stevens or crystal. Also, lines at chair 2 at alpental are going to be even more rediculous once this thing is finished.

All true, but if it is going to happen either way we might as well look on the bright side, I think a little village at the base would be kinda cool despite all the flaws and downsides to it
