Snoqualmie 2012-2013

haha, nice dude

really fun first day up there for me, snow sure is different than CO. Jumped off some stuff, sluffed some stuff, and ate some shit.

had a blast

on an unrelated note, does the park open for night skiing? still haven't been up there at night yet, and would love to bring out the flashes and do some night shooting.

Also, bigger jumps yet?

yea. basically no lines, lots of stoned dudes and generally a fair amount of ice. landings aren't particularly well lit either.

No lines? When? Night shredding? Unless you have the freedom to Sesh on a weekday, you're going to face a fatty amount of night lines at central.

I never ride at night except on weekends, and mostly I ride single. Compared to the day lines they are fantastic, by 8 it's usually ride up to the lift, or nearly so.

should be soon hopefully. weve got rain coming for a while though so it might take a bit. i think they opened around febuary last year

Sick. Just wanted to say stoked on the overall vibe over at Snoqualmie. Great group of shredders, and pretty stoked for the upcoming day of shreddin park and red bull comp this weekend!

coming down to ski some park on friday. havent been to qualmie in a few years so im stoked to see what has changed. hows the park lookin these days?

Anyone going up tomorrow? i can throw gas money for a ride if youre going around 1230 or 1 or i can drive if anyone's looking for a ride.

so im buying the 1-10 ticket on friday. i'll be flying solo driving my girlfriend's car up i think, sooooooo who wants to show me how to ski park? im on doubletimes w/yellow causwell pantaloons so if you see a lone warrior eating shit a lot its probably me.

i'll also have my gopro which i will only use if i find some people to ski with. havent been to qualmie in like 4 years or so.

No specific dates but I found this at http://www.summitatsnoqualmie.com/News/1551/Spring-is-Here-Operating-Info

"We have now shifted into spring operations here at The Summit. That means Summit Central and Alpental are your “go-to” base areas, as Summit West and Summit East have closed for the season. Our goals are to run Summit Central through mid April, conditions permitting, and to run Alpental through the first weekend of May… Viva Cinco de Mayo en Alpental!!!"

Since this weekend is the unofficial closing date, this saturday is the unofficial official gaper day. show up w/ beers, buds n gaper gear

Anybody know how long central be opened? I'm coming home for the summer may 9th and would be stoked to get another day in

whats Alpental like this time of year? I am wondering if it is worth the drive up next week and buying a lift ticket. I am a long time pass holder at Stevens so Ive only ridden Alpental once or twice.

if its sunny itll be nice.

Who's ready for some post season rail hike? Anyone know if some rails are gonna be pulled down to lower park or if its just gonna be whats already up?

I'm driving up to the pass tomorrow to hike some rails. I'm leaving when my class ends at 12:30 with some homies, i have a few spots open in my car, let me know if you want a ride from east seattle.
