Snoqualmie 11-12

Favorite thing this year at Alp;

All the park kids coming over, standing on top of cliffs for minutes at a time, then airing super slow to flat landing. I guess you gotta start somewhere.... Props for going for it.

Great day till my buddies binding broke.

If I met you please let me know, my name's jack, i was wearing a green and yellow oakley jacket and was making lots of loud noises with a friend of mine, liquid courage was involved.

i heard rory threw a dub at the pass today and that it was on the news. tryin to see a video of it if anybody knows where i can find it

Kind of annoyed that they took so many features and made them into that shitty snowboard park that no one was hitting, but oh well. Jumps are smooth as butter, wish I got a chance to hit the biggest.

someone wanna fill me in?

I would just like to point out that Alpental patrollers are gnarly as fuck. I was hiking above Piss Pass with four of them last weekend, when one of the guy's bindings popped out of the ski. We were about halfway to the ridge and a helluva long way from the base. So they try to get the binding back on, no luck. So this guy duct-tapes his ski to his boot and fucking skis top to bottom, all OB, on the one remaining ski that was fine. No helmet either. Gnar shit.

How is that area, by the way? I've seen people go up there before but i have no idea what the hikes like/ how much of a run you get before youre back in Ingrids. Its always been intriguing

First time for me last weekend. The hike was alright, the ridgeline has an amazing view, there was some hairy shit at times but not piss-your-pants type stuff. The bowl we skied was really nice, and the snow was pretty bad that day. On a good day I bet it'd be amazing, I plan to go up there again for sure.

Might be worth a shot then. I actually remember now that I went up armstrong with a paraplegic guy who had crescent moon stilts attached to his skis because he went down the backside of that alone and got trapped, ended up losing his legs because of frostbite.

I think I remember one of the guys telling me that as we were traversing, to demonstrate how screwed you can get.

he was talking about the tube city setup. and if he looks at this he will be glad to know that it is coming out soon and being redispursed throughout the park

his names dan witkowsky or something like that. you can read the story about him online if you just google his name. pretty amazing story. I used to see him skiing all the time. on prosthetics.

I think optimistically tomorrow, only for the reason that they closed the whole mountain today at 3pm to bomb the shit out of it... its not supposed to let up though, so who knows.

The park is absolutely insane right now...if you normally ski Stevens and wanna take a day trip to snoqualmie once this season for a sick park, I would do it ASAP

Did you get off to that? If not, try stroking your own dick a little harder, or thinking about an xgames podium.

It would be that insane park with no pipe right? Or did you all put down the pipe, pull the strap on out of your ass and build it?

it's ironic you're asking if he 'got off' to that when yet again you make another pointless, irrelevant, and overall fucking embarrasing post in this thread. congrats

oh congratulations, you sound like every other 10 year old bitching about an impracticality that they will never learn nor even use properly, only difference is that you made yourself into a grade A asshole ready to be pummeled next time another twink gives you the wink.

Youre like 20 something years old, go get a bottle of lube and get ready to jack off to the next cold rush. Just dont get your tiny testicles too blue before they cancel it again.

that was completely pointless, Jamie is just stating the fact that the snoqualmie park is on point right now(i concur) and you just feel the need to hate on him for completely irrelevant facts. and yes Jamie did build part of the park and he knows whats good so why dont you just lay off and go back to whatever you were doing, which most likely was not productive

Lets see, who is more likely to do something productive

1. goofy fuckstick with aspirations of filming rich white kids

2. engineer with army obligations

~

Luckily if you're smart you can love something worthwhile. If you're dumb then tough shit, society doesnt run on bullshit~

you should make another shitty edit of the lifestyles of the upper middle class who despite graduating from highschool, live off their parents wealth.

hey ass hole we all have jobs and or have sponsors and hookups, why don't you just leave our peaceful thread, where we "priveledged youth" are being friendly and having fun

so skiing and working park crew is not worthwhile? i am confused here what are you trying to say scott?

It would leave me woefully unsatisfied with myself to know that was the extent of my productivity.

I don't expect you to understand, which is fine.

why because i am a teenager? whoopdie fucking do i turn 20 next week, i am trying to be a double major so i am pretty sure i can understand a lot, but that last statement made no sense, so step off our nuts and let us do our thing. and yes fortunately our parents were lucky years ago and studied hard and invested money in a smart fashion therefore able to purchase nice things (places in whistler) and lets e real here, what is the point that our parents make money? that it sits in a bank account and stays as numbers? no money is made to be spent that is the point of currency, and i amproud of our parents for working so hard and being able to go cool places. but besides that all the outerwear and skis and trips to tahoe and tickets to resorts, we get that through connections
