Snoqualmie 11-12

did a solo mission in the alpental valley yesterday. Most of the snow was complete crap but the crux of the descent was actually ideal, and the views were epic!

hehehe

truck stop restrooms here I come!

(Did you really just post your phone number in an open forum, or even on the internet?)

P.S. I don't care if it is not your phone number, it is still going up in a truck stop restroom, or two.

Pass closed until 11am at the earliest for avy control.

Anyone make it up there this morning? I will be heading up in a few hours.

Damn. I was just checking the Alpy cams and saw a few people comin down and people on the chairs. Those lucky souls...My friend is stuck in North Bend and supposedly the cops said the pass might not open until tomorrow or Thursday. The WSDOT estimated reopening changed to unknown too.

I was just up there where they had it closed at exit 34 and the cops said it would be closed for about 10-12 hours today that was at about 10;00

Pass actually opened back up at 2:10 this afternoon, after a brutal 5 minute wait behind one single car, we were good to go. If you waited longer than that, don't worry, I made a few turns for you.

Snow was deep and very light, looking forward to much more!

Today was meh at best. Not trying to rain on the parade, but it didn't live up to expectations at all. 2nd chair was so crowded and the snow up top was pretty tracked out all day..

If anyone wants to build a jump tomorrow let me know and we can meet up. A few friends and I know a good zone to build in

if you ski snoqualmie on a regular basis and you werent at wildside at 4pm today you were not living your life the right way. So deep and so fun

I met this fine young lady's mother in the lift line on friday.

Have a buddy that is coming back to visit his home, wondering if there are any deals for day pass at alpy for him? Or if anyone has a day pass to sell?
