SLVSH

Not saying he didn't but nose bud 6 and hugo came off early on that last rail

I found hugo came off early on quite a few of the tricks that were called okay, but I can see how you'd call them good. One of those games that kinda heavily depended on how the ref saw things

What armada model is quinn on? also not sure how i felt about the judging. They need a bigger playback screen for that gopro.

Slvsh but everything is filmed with an iPad 2020

Honestly I thought the reffing was fair, some loose calls but both ways. Quans nose press on his second try was pretty loose but no one is bitching about that.

Also I just want to take a moment to appreciate that three of the games so far have been close to 20 minutes. Some insane shit from all riders involved.

Dumb question but what do they mean when they say blender ? Like blender 4,How's it different than regular 4 on? What did I miss, I hear that one alot

Spinning the opposite way of the shoulder you’re looking over

Some guys throw their switch dubs like this for some reason too

When you're switch, you look over the opposite shoulder to the side you will rotate.

Pretty scary on a jump, kind of suicide before a rail.

Quinn is on next years Arv 96Ti zero.

Ehhhh that last call was so iffy, both got loose calls in the game, wanted hugo to win but on a better note, kinda bittersweet like when hugo one his last game with Emil, it was just a fucked trick that was kinda biffed around.

can we talk about Hugos switch nose press? His toe pieces weren't even on the snow until he reverted

Yeah for real, I felt like Hugo's switch nosepress was one of the dopest tricks of the game. Also these long games are proof that this is a stacked bracket and there really is no predicting how any game is gonna go

Anyone else get upset when Hugo called cork 3 hand drag and Quin missed it, then Hugo goes and calls the same trick with a tail grab? Lame in my opinion. If someone called switch dub 10 and their opponent misses the trick they shouldn't then be able to call switch dub 10 blunt. Where is the line drawn? Could you just keep doing grab variations on a trick you know your opponent can't do? Switch dub 10 japan, switch dub 10 mute, switch dub 10 safety etc.

Its slvsh, it's the way she goes, hugo also did elusive on the baby tube then did super elusive, Quinn landed. Lots of times that happens when say the tricks a 2 pretz 2 then steps up to 2 pretz 4. Quinn easily couldve landed both with a bit less speed or a better angle. Overall the calls were iffy but shit happens.

How do you guys feel about Hugo calling back to back cork threes with a hand drag on the knuckle when it was obvious that quinn did not have any practice doing that? Quinn missing it seemed like a lack of practice doing that specific trick on that specific jump, rather than a lack of skill. I thought it was a bit of a low blow, but putting myself in that situation I think I would do the exact same thing.

Then I got to thinking about practice leading up to the event. Do you guys think the boys see what other dudes are working on and make sure they can do the same stuff? And do you think they have some secret tricks that they don't practice leading up to the cup so that the other guys don't know whats coming? Tricks that might not be difficult, but kinda weird and take a couple tries to land so that they can get an easy letter on somebody not expecting it. SLVSH Cup is fukn nutz and the sickest event in skiing

They are professional skiers.

It's a competition.

The goal is to win.

When Hugo called it the second time, he said ‘because Quan wants to try it again’

Mystery solved.

Am I just high? didn't Quinn get the cork 3 blunt hand drag?

That trick was dope AF. Hugo did it better.

Stacks of bangers in this game.

Yeah exactly slvsh is all about getting new tricks so idk why everyone's saying how that was low of Hugo. I bet Quan was hyped to get that

A tournament highlight fo sho. It will be interesting to see how he utilizes this skill in the coming matches.

Are there any "dirty" ski tricks that like only one dude. I'm thinking of Mike Mo's late back foot 360 flip in BatB. He's legit the only dude that can do it.

Would be cool if a skier had like a "finishing move" that nobody else can do. For example can/has anyone else done Henriks nosebutter triple?

Damn that game was fire!! Taisei absolutely slayed it. Woodsy with the best reffing as always. I'm excited to see Taisei move on and what he can do.

Woa Taisei is going to be hard to beat for sure. I haven't seen him ski other than in the redbull playstreet event, so his skills really shocked me in this one. GG YO

Wow I picked Yamamoto to win the first round but loose the next and I wish i hadn’t dudes a beast how tf you 3 swap a down rail

Taisei just gave me a spook. Had him winning this round, but after watching him throw down fucked pipe/jump as well as rail tricks, I'm not sure he can be stopped by anyone.

Tasai coming out of nowhere like a dark horse. That was a great game, I especially liked the part where Tasai called dub cork, but couldn't specify how many rotations. Wonder if we're gonna see Jesper reff any games

Bracket claim who finna bet:

ROUND 1 (what's left):

Vinnie Vs. Oscar - Oscar

Mark Vs. Colby - Mark

ROUND 2:

Hugo vs Finn - Hugo

Ferdie vs. Johan - Johan

Taisei vs. Mark - Taisei

Emil vs. Oscar - Emil

ROUND 3:

Hugo vs. Johan - Hugo

Taisei vs. Emil - Emil

FINAL WINNER: Emil (in the wildest super nightmare part 4 emil vs. hugo death battle ever)

yes. In Jesper and Emils game Jesper said he had practiced one of the tricks he saw Emil do twice before the game but hadn't landed it until the game. I think it was the switch cork 6 onto the flat down box
