13248208:SDrvper said:I know. But they embed from vimeo, which is what counts the views
13248062:theslvsh said:Hey guys and gals, in regards to ripping the videos and posting them on NS, YouTube etc. Hosting these games on our website is how we get money to make more games. We love NS but it doesn't help us when they're hosted here. If you guys want these games to continue and expand into bigger and better games and tournaments, please dont rip the games and post them elsewhere. We have big plans for this and want it to continue. Thanks.

13248357:pussyfooter said:They already do this, the kid who posted it probably looked into the code and found the video and downloaded it. Seems pretty clear if slvsh doesn't make the video downloadable, you probably shouldn't download it and post it on NS.

100% false

13253686:DIX~ said:It's just how many letters you get at the end. It's out of 1000 for both players
So if one guy gets 0 letters he'll get 1000 and the loser 0. If the winner gets 4 letters and the loser 5 he'll get 5/9 of the points so 5/9 * 1000. Pretty much you get a percentage of the total letters dished out in the game out of 1000.
Sorry if I'm bad at explaining math but hopefully someone will understand.
Using this last games with Woodsy for an example: James gave Evan 3 letters, Evan gave James 5 letters so there was 8 total letters dished out.
James would be awarded 3/8 of the points, Evan 5/8. Then it's just multiplied by 1000.
Correct me if I'm wrong slvsh dudes
13253706:Blurst said:James currently has a higher score than evan.
13253710:DIX~ said:Yeah I think they just fucked up on that one. The rest of the games scores played out the way I described

The goal of the game is to spin as much as you can both ways and try to get your total net rotations to equal 0. Example: You have two jumps and one down rail, you spin a left 900 then a right 900 on the jumps and you do a 270 pretz 270 on the rail. Net rotations=0. Next skier does a left 1080 to a right 1080 and a 270 pretz 270 as well. He spun more so forth he wins.
Check it out.

13256329:Tappie said:That was pretty cool to watch, although I don't get why Walker didn't just straight air or zero the last jump to keep his score at 0.
Besides that, I can imagine it being easier to go 2nd than 1st, cause if the first rider does not end with zero points, you could just straight air the whole course and win, and if the first rider does end with zero you know exactly what it takes to defeat his run.
Also what happens when both riders get 0 with the same amount of spins? Is it going to be another run?
I really like the idea and the video was sick, but it needs to be worked out a little more maybe.
13256336:*DUMBCAN* said:If it's just a spin on a course preview I couldn't be happier with it.
Normally course previews consist of a future-spinner pointing a go pro at himself, showing less of the course than a chinese-made painting of Aspen in the 19th century.
