brain melted, questionable call on the ski catch there but homie is the best ref by far. Moffat could have won that but he wanted to keep the game going, nice
 
That was a lit game, good on Max for not going for the jugular at the end and trying a trick he hadn't landed yet. Sick to see Hanka get it.

The problem is max counted it as soon as daniel landed it, hard to say it doesn't count if the opponent congratulates the guy on landing it

I mean, he had the trick.. he just kinda snaggled and lifted his ski after landing. I dont mind the call. I have seen way worse calls.
 
Been some sus reffing.

Hanka didn't get The sw 2 back swap to switch. Hanka even knew it and shows his frustration. Game shoulda been over there…didn't see a tap on hankas 3 tail tap. Then he wasn't corked on the cork 4 on. Maybe it was just the angle because max clearly liked it, who knows. Anyway Max shoulda won cause it should have been over already.

Not saying any names or trying to throw shade since he was riding and not reffing but..

Has to be one of the worst. Not this cup but from the other in sunset park he didn't even explain why 2 tricks antti did perfectly didn't count when playing oystein. Just said "that can't count". Antti woulda won if it was reffed fair. Seems like some games there's some sort of subconscious bias like someone mentioned earlier.

That was some BS reffing. I feel like Benjamin was butthurt that he lost against Max, so he called a shitty game against Max so Hanka could win.

maybe im biased because max is from my hometown and i get so stoked to see someone i know do so well in the ski community but damn i would love to see SLVSH do something to compensate for that bullshit reffing god damn

Haha dude you're crazy, saying he sabotaged the game is ludacris. he was consistant with his calls, thats all that matters.
 
Ye there were some tough decisions but you gotta give Hanka credit for the defence he put up against max's crazy technical rail calls. His jump game was way more stylish too Max had some sick moments but overall think Hanka deserved the win
 
Seemed like Magnus called Noah's tricks a little looser than johans. It it doesn't even matter because johan is such a goddam savage.

Front 4 holding safety was off the chain

You guys are way too picky about refs in these games... they are all consistent, magnus was lenient the entire game, not just for noah, jesus.

Nope you're wrong. I agree those calls were questionable, but Im 100% sure it wasn't on purpose against Antti (btw Daniel is a really good friend of him). I feel like reffing is completely different if you compare watching it in slowmo from a followcam shot or in real life full speed, possibly from a different angle. And yeah, everyone sees and judges skiing differently, but thats a good thing imho.
 
that game was insane i couldnt tell who was gonna win till then end

Love that Tom R pretty much just called Luka friendly tricks the entire game. Was expecting way more tech rail and jump calls. But damn that was lit.

Yeh I feel like Tom had way more crazy shit up his sleeve he could have used but kept it interesting.

God Damn Luka has such a nice flow. It's a pleasure to watch.
