Any mountain i go to i always get shit for skiing switch out of the park, anywhere, some ski patrol or lifty questions me/"repremands" me and i really cant talk back because i dont feel like getting my pass clipped, but the stupid gappers are causing more harm then me
 
haha thats fuckin' retarded... at my hill we can ski switch where ever.. the lifty guys even load me switch. Its so awesome riding up switch, just 180 on your way up if yoru liftys dont let you. ride switch when ever you want...that was twins are for!
 
just take on a gaper stance and yell as loud as you can, "IM TRYING TO GO BACK UP BUT I KEEP SLIPPING"
 
Just be smart about it..if you ever get into a pack of people just flip back around...I've never really had a problem...most people just look kind of impressed...
 
yeah ive only had problems if im skiing switch through a lesson or something, they shouldnt give a rats ass if youre not causing problems
 
that happens to me too. they always say "no skiing backwards in this area" and once i told them that i cant do it in the park cuz of the gapers but he just was like "deal with it and quit it"
 
dude i ski all the way from the park to the lift line switch then finaly switch up at the revolving lift gates almost every single run with easeee

Usually the hill staff is trying to race you switch down the hill. I dont understand why anyone would say that to you unless you ran into some old lady or hit a tree.

ive been yelled at once. he was all like, "crazy kid, im gettin ski patrol!!" they came and said be careful and left. amazing.
 
yeah dude you gotta be sensible, dont bomb it if theres a pack of people. if you are on a hill with a punch of begginners just turn aruond if it gets to tight, dont risk it. but its jelousy i tell you haha jk
 
at my hill no one cares.. the chrairlift guys are like 20 so they dont give a shit unless they get paid, and ski patrol are minimum, its so dank
 
i got yelled at for skiing switch and a minute latter i am waiting on someone next to one of those bright orange slow signs and this gapper just completely takes out the sign and eats shits. I agree i avoiding more people and signs than him
 
when i ski switch i try to avoid going into places wher theres a lot of people, and if i find there's too many ppl, or maybe a beginner child, i just get back to normal
 
if someone complains ski past them swithc and batwing them so they have to look, then when the turn to avoid your scrotum yell at the top of your lungs "LOOK WHERE YOUR FUCKING GOING!!!!!!" and finish it off with "BITCH" and then ski off in a mad tuck
 
if i have kids i will teach them all to ski backwards in the beginning, so if the ski patroller yells at them they can be like "fuck you, i dont know how to ski forwards"
 
almost one of the greatest moments ever for me...i was skiing down this gaper filled hill and the loser cuts me off completely. if i sucked i would have been out forever. so i yell at him "learn how to ski asshole" he yells "you faggot" so i get into switch and just stare right at him and say "your turn" the look on his face was priceless

im still learning the whole essence of learning to ski switch, i always feel like an asshole or retard when i fall while skiing switch down a run haahha
 
yeah i learned last season just start on a mellow green and work your way up its really fun once you get it, you can race your racer friends switch, only way its fair, but yeah idk why i always get yelled at for skiing switch, no one else ever does, guess i must give off a wierd vibe
 
yea i got yelled at last year for skiing switch.it was gay. then i got yelled at by the same patroller for doing a invert. even more gay.
 
are you asking when i carve do i change what shoulder i look over? yeah, its depends, proabably 50/50 but i dont see what that has to do with anything beside periferal(sp) vision
 
just freak out and say "HELP ME HELP ME! IM GOING THE WRONNG WAY!!!", throw in some gaper steeze, and it shall be fine. i ski switch past the ski patrollers at my mountain and they dont give a shit. wat mountain are you at?
 
Once i hit like a twelve year old kid who was snowboarding when i was riding switch, and i knew it would look bad so i apologized like a trillion times to him and his dad, and both of them honestly looked more scared that i was gonna try to kill them or something than either was worried about the kid getting hurt, it was weird.
 
you think thats bad? there was a 20 minute lift line and i was told i was not allowed to hike a rail by ski patrol
 
on a chairlift? caue if you are switch on a chair u'd be on your knees and it would look like u were gonna take it in the ass.
 
The people at my mtn. are tyte about it mostly. I've never gotten any complaints, last weekend I was lfyin down switch and near the lifts the mtn. safety were just saying slowdown they never said anything about switch. so the nex time I just went slower switch (still moderately fast) and they never said a word to me.
