Been talking to a lot of people and reading things posted online about the X Games, and I keep hearing people say I just don't get it. They don't get how these skiers/snowboarder are doing triples and doubles and flipping off rails. The sports have progressed so far ahead that people can grasp what they are viewing.
Now is this a bad thing? I think it could be it might drive people away from picking up freeskiing. They see something like a triple and think well I will never be able to do that so why brother trying.
Is it time to say enough with the progression and just keep it in cruise control for a while so people can catch back up to what is going on? Or keep pushing the sport and pushing more people away from it?
