I'm better than all my friends and way more dedicated too, so I end up skiing alone quite a bit, but when I do I accomplish alot more because I can focus, try new stuff and do the same trick over and over again to just really get it dialed.
When I go skiing alone though I always make sure I have music, and I'll set a goal for myself to accomplish that day. If I start eating it alot I'll just go do something else and fool around, have fun doing stuff that I've got locked to get my confidence back up and so I start feeling good about it again, and then I'll go and do it again. You can get alot accomplished if you know how.
