Ski Sundown 10/11 Season

Is everything from opening day going to be left in place for this weekend and new stuff is going to be added, or is the park going to be completely re-hauled?

I would be extremely happy with jumps on toms Friday. Some changes to stinger would be sick too, I'm fine with everything, just not liking the placement of the dfd.

nevermind found the answer on FB.. but why is everyone complaining about how sticky rails are or how slick they are? It's just a part of skiing, deal with it, unless you get on and don't slide an inch and people are getting hurt

everything came out monday morning before the freeze. we're going to be able to build on the entire Stinger trail for Friday. Reminder....Tom's is micro park. probably not for you guys. it's for your girl friends, parents and first time friends. still going to be fun though ahha.

its cold. more work. adios

There was nothing wrong with the dfd. I would say that in the history of ski sundown thats the best its ever been. Usaly its way to close to the ground but last friday it was perfect. Not to claim but it was soooo trickable i dont no what anyone else is saying. For opening day at sundown the setup was on point. Who ever said the rails were sticky must be smoking crack, the park crew spent alot of time grinding down the rails so there were perfect ( wich they were ). Everyone needs to stop bitching about dumb things, or shit that is just not true. Be greatfull that we have a terrain park and a dope staff that actuly listens to our constructive critisism.

yea so many of my friends now had mountains just like sundown and have told me horror stories about how bad their park crews were. for a mountain like sundown having people like jarrod makin the park as nice as he can possibly be and brendan updating people on whats been going on with the mountain its sick.

imagine if sundown wasnt as sick as it is, and everyone was spread out in CT shredding southington, mohawk and mobbin up to VT. the vibe would suck and none of us in this thread would know each other.

but back to the discussion! im comin home next monday what you guys think youll have set up. my fucked my knee and can hit jumps for a little bit so ill be more than stoked on any of the rails you guys set up

yay! it's working. that's what we're trying to accomplish here. a place where you can enjoy life.

in other news, we're working on the wall ride for this weekend.... hope we can get it done.

It wasn't out all last year. But the year before it was out pretty much all season.

It's like a whole new feature now too...crazy, looks like a lot of fun, stoked on it.

you didnt know who he was till i told you, hahah.

Now i don't want to be a nag or anything but is it possible to change that first down rail up top into a short flat rail. we don't have a flat rail at the moment and that one you can't really see going up to. And personally i haven't exactly had a possibility to ease back into things

j-rod, please make it so there's no mega lips onto the rails.

I don't exactly like how you can't see the first rail until you're on it! Set up at least feature urban and down.

if i ahve time it'll go flat. what does "set up at least feature urban and down" mean?

we have one urban down rail. i like the idea of having a flat rail.

gotta get some shop time for the big rails. the backhoe and snow cat are both being worked on.....

lift tower on ground is doable. where?

kirk asked for S rail next to flat box... move flat box to skiers right of the pile and make a 1/4 on skiers right of box....
