I’m the terrain park manager at tussey and I have grown up skiing here. Tussey is pretty decent all things considered, we are a small hill 10 minutes from campus, and have dumped a pile of money into a new snow making lines, pumps and guns. If you check out the specials we have for lift tickets it’s pretty affordable.
MONDAY- buy one get one half day or full day lift tickets for college students
TUESDAY- 7-10pm lift tickets for $15
WEDNESDAY- 12-2pm tickets are half price
THURSDAY- 4-10pm tickets for $25
SATURDAY- 7-10pm tickets for $25
EVERYDAY- $2 off with a college ID on regular priced tickets
As far as terrain parks go we try our best to keep things progressive and dynamic. We mostly set up intermediate features with a few advanced options. This year we bought 8 new beginner rails/boxes. The conditions aren’t always prime due to the weather, we have been battling the rain this season. Over all if you don’t mind there being no lift lines unless it’s a powder day then you should have a good time here or at least it’s worth a try if you don’t have time to drive to a bigger mountain.
