Ski patrol is terrible

its hardly whining when if the person controlling the rope has a slight accident then the person repelling potentially gets seriously injured. its just common sense
 
The lift evac process is incredibly controlled. The double twist to the rope provides a lot of friction and the belayer is not "holding" to entire weight of the person on the rope. It's an incredibly controlled process and to the best of my knowledge, I am unaware of an occassion where a problem has arisen from the process.
