i'm not too sure what i want, it'd be realy cool if it was done right, but i for one would still value an X-Games Gold Medal or a US Freeskiing Open Gold over an Olympic Gold, becuase i know those events are put together, judged, and are heading in the right direction. I don't think it would hurt to try for ski superpipe in the olympics, but if it goes in, we need the right people organizing it, people who have been down since the begining and people who know how to ride and judge pipe. Like Phil Belanger, Josh Loubek, David Creighton, CR Johnson, Jon Ollson. They know what tricks are hardest to do, and how difficult it may be to pull them off and still make them look good, i think the ratio mentioned above, 10 for amplitude, 10 for style, 10 for difficulty, 10 for 'manditory tricks', 10 for overall would work. if they got rid of that 'manditory air/tricks' thhing and gave those 10 points to overall, cause what makes a pipe run great isn't the hige 1080 you throw on the last hit, but the cork 5s, ally-ops, 900s, flairs, flatspins, and 7s you throw before it all mixed together.
thats just what i think though...
