15 year old was CRAZY and he will probably dominate the next 10 years, but Simon definitely should have had that 2nd place...
 
must agree, simon had a better run than rolland and torin.

But Torin still killed it.
 
The judges factored douchiness into their scoring this year. I'm surprised Simon could even stay on the podium.
 
I realized I fucked up with the name of the thread. As you can see in the post it should have been "Simon should have gotten 2nd"

Simon should have taken at least 2nd. Everyone was shocked. Not trying to take anything from Torin cause at 15 and puttin it down crazy, but no switch and only one grab.......

I agree with the original post completely but I must also show respect to Torin, cos he seemed cool and his run was definitely insane, albeit not as grabbed as I would like to see.
 
is everybody blind ? rolland's run better than dumont's ?? come on, it was sick, but dumont's was BALLA. I know people think he's a douche and maybe he is, but he definately was the man tonight
 
I think Dumont deserved first, I kinda agree with the guy that said he didn't like Rollands attitude though, he always seems stoked but I always get the vibe that he doesn't love skiing like everyone else, and its all another day of training for him, sort of like a gymnast. He's super good though, it kind of makes me mad how he won with a run that wasn't even as good as last years, anyone know what happened to Bertoni? I didn't see the start and I think he only did one run
 
Only reason why i agree with this is because you gotta look at it from the judges perspective we all have difference taste in style. Torins so go damn clean he landed high and didnt speed check at all and he had solid tricks and amp. Maybenot solidgrabs but if you look at dumonts 75% of his hits he landed low and he speed checkedd hard as hell man. But its debatable
 
Mate your a prick, show some respect for Kevin (and Xavier)

Kevin Rolland is by far the best pipe skier out there at the moment. He didnt even need to throw his sw dub to win.

Dumont robbed for silver and props to Torin, he will be the future.

All in all a pretty disapointing comp for me, a step back from last year... Lets hope for better in the slopestyle
 
also, if Dumont landed his last run, he would of been scored higher I reckon... His run 2 score of 90 was pretty low, and i think its fair Torin beat that... Dumont needed to lay down his last run and he didnt
 
i skied with him and bertoni at whistler briefly, like 4 or 5 years ago, just trying to muster any french i had to converse, and even with the language barrier and shit it was pretty obvious he was fucking passionate about skiing. Just because he slays don't mean shit. Maybe he should wear bandannas and act like a fool or something to prove he is hood or some shit.
 
Dumonts amplitude was insane that and the fact that everything was grabbed + switch factored in there makes Dumonts run superior to Torin. The frenchman...lets leave it at that
 
im sayin hes just not stoked on skiin outside the pipe and comps.

unlike dorey and torin and many others love teh sport adn kill it everywhere

Being French isn't a "Race" it's a country - a choice. NS is full of videos of people bagging on goombas and hick ass americans, a couple french comments is far from offensive.
 
my "french buttseckz" comment was a joke lol, i just dislike them because of their "training" attitude on the sport, fuck that.
