Simon should have won!

this thread simply proves that NS just loves to hate. Regardless of the comp, the event, the competitors, and in most cases, even the sport.

Dumont wins, he is hated. Dumont loses, whoever beat him is hated. There is simply no winning over NS.

Oh and as said, French isn't a race. It's a nationality...which is not a choice. I didn't choose to be born French or American. It more or less just happened.

Just because you are born French or American doesn't mean that you have to identify with it. And, once you are able, you can pick up and move.

I could move to Canada, live like a Canadian, and call myself Canadian. If I identify with it, I'm a Canadian and not American, just because I was born in America.

Sorry, I was using the wrong word(my bad), but it was enough to highlight my point that people should not be thought less of because of the country they come from. It's clear that the people who are saying things like this don't understand that. Yet you seem to jump to their rescue like some sort of patriotic corrector of my lacking dictionary skills. I don't understand your motives. But really condoning it is just as wrong as saying it.

If they were directed at British people I would have taken offence.

Ps, what is a Goomba? I thought it was a wee bad guy on mario.

like you fucking know the guy right? fuck off, kevin kills it all over the mountain- still don't believe me?http://global.skipass.com/news/48344-followus-tv-episode-6-park-pow-and.html

And you seem, again to miss the point.

A couple Simon fanboys are mad that Torin and Kevin did wel. It's the internet, it's newschoolers, and they wanted to express their issues, they called them "frenchies". Do you honestly think that they are judging people because of their country of origin? People are just disappointed.

I'm not condoning anything, because nothing is going on. This is a non-issue, and there's threads about it.

If anyone can find anything TRULY offensive that was said, where someone is actually trying to make biting comments towards French people, I'll delete it. Until then, get over it.

That being said, go Torin and Kevin. I didn't get to watch finals, but I'm sure they deserved it, and I'm sure they would have been great sports if they had lost as well. Viva Frenchies, Allons enfants de la Patrie, Le jour de gloire est arrivé, etc.

lol, i don't consider my comment offensive. it's just easier to type "frenchies" or "french motherfuckers" than their full names while ranting.

Dumont was robbed of 2nd.

Torin YW's run was mad smooth, and his double flat was ill, but overall, it wasn't nearly as difficult a run as Dumont's.

look under the video it says : VIDEO PLAYLIST and there is torin and dumont video ! and after that u can juge who is the "real" winner for you ! no grab for torin ! but his run was nasty !

I didn't really like Rollands run pretty much the same as last years except a little better in the middle and no third double. imo Torin's and Dumont's runs were better. I was watching in person though, didn't have full time to review the runs but still felt Dumont's and Torin's runs were a lot cleaner and had more amplitude

Torin grabbed every hit but his 12 and stomped a double that nobody else was doing except Dorey who didn't land it. Torin and Rolland both did doubles on their last hit and Dumont didn't.....judges care about that shit.

Plus Dumont lands low and sketchy almost every hit...Torin landed everything clean.

dumont went fucking huge. he sent his dubs way higher than anyone else
just saying.. its still sick as fuck that torrin got second

for me1 dumont2 wallace3 rolland
if not dumont should be in 2 place but also the kangaroo from wallace was best trick i ever seen on pipe

we had the discussion with tanner and simon already! torin gets in 1 MORE HIT and i still able to boost the best double of the evening! it's a hard decission for the judges! i'm ok with the results like this!

an other question: ANYONE ELSE THINK THAT GUS COULD HAVE PODIUMED ???

Simon should have certainly gotten 2nd. The only reason Torin beat him out was because hes 15. Judges need to step it up and cut the bias bs

no, I understand your point its just that when frustration turns to prejudice I do not feel comfortable with it and think t should be stopped. I dont thnk they are judging them by their country no, I think they are suggesting it makes them different and justifies their dislike for them, which is unfair and as I have learnt not racist, but xenophobic.

The finals were really good. It must have been hard to call but I think simons superior grabs and smoothness with at least equal tecnicallity should have earned him more points than Torins run. I also Think that it was glaringly obvious that Kevin had the best run of everybody whether he trains and receives coaching and treats skiing as competition or not. I also think that he was very courteous to Torin and Simon in his interview after his run and showed nothing but friendlyness, far from being a douche he congratulated them and said that their runs were amazing and were not something he himself could do.

You guys are all wrong about simon being upset. he wasn't upset because he lost 2nd he was upset because the 15 year old was taller than him.

Rolland had a flawless but somehow unimpressive run, Wallace's last double flat alone was reason enough to hand him silver.

However, for me, the X-Games are about eye-candy. And Dumont's air and steeze were simply unmatched. His switch 1080 at the end, afterbanging halfway into the rotation, was more fun to watch than any other trick last night.
