Simon dumont has no style.

woah Jack comparing the Dumont and Tuffy is just unreasonable, Dumont looks way better than GTand he was also grabbing tail in his 12's by the end of the season. I'm kinda hit or miss w/ Dumont I like watching him compete but his movie segments to me are just kinda blah, like he's going through the motions but one of my favorite skiers to watch compete.... also everyone has style, some just better than others

1. He can do 10s...

2. he did handplant flips...

3. you've skied with him...

4. he is amazing...

5. he can frontflip off of anything...

6.you can't touch him?...

I'm not saying he's a bad skier I'm saying he isn't steezy when he wraps like a mummy... and dude. dude... none of those have ANYTHING to do with style. you should get that checked out...
 
I think Simon is a dope mofo...but I see your point, and you are retarded for calling out Simon for his comp runs. Hate the judging game, not the playa, if 12's w a quick grab make you 25 large, BOOya. If a big SW nose mute 360 gives kids on ns a boner, why bother competing? Dumont is legit, his film segs and JOI runs are ill.

I'd rather see a sw 10 win than a 12 in the pipe though, I think Tanner deserved the X-games gold.

Not this shit again...anyone who judges Dumont based solely on a competition run is an idiot. The kid is sick as fuck, watch his JOI footy, or that butter thing in the Believe teaser, or any recent movie segment minus the pipe parts. Double front over the step-up at X, handplant 3s on the rainbow at Laax, why do people hate on this guy just because of a couple hucked tricks in the pipe?
 
yo tell me this, if that is so important maybe they should have an amplitude contest but last time i checked this was a halfpipe contest and straight airs and a lack of switch riding in the pipe never deserves to win again at the x games

ps - the guys who started this thread is partially right...dumont has style, it just is nowhere near as good as others. I wouldnt care except he keeps winning pipe comps
 
p.s his cab 10s at wsi had reaaally sick style, if you saw them you would actually be hyped.

pipe jockery will never be sick plain and simple.
 
ewwwwww those 12's are so ugly, ive seen better looking spins from johnny mosley. seriously who crosses their skis and dosent grab? thats a mogul trick, almost a totally different sport.
