Simon dumont has no style.

I was referring to the first clip, yet it still stands, that he doesn't grab it.

I find it funny, that stefan thomas holds his grabs throughout his entire trick, and lands switch from a good height, yet I have never seen a full run of his in an edit. If we can agree on someone who is nasty though.... mike riddle.

I disagree, and I wish everyone would cut the crap about Simon this and Tanner that. Any pro could not be where they are today if they had no style and little skill. Recently hate has flooded NS.

I disagree. He is going 5-8 feet higher out of the pipe than the competition, and that much amplitute certainly sets him apart.

Where in the thread did anyone say that any tricks other than a few from his halfpipe runs are without style. shut your shit, everybody knows dumont has style.
 
Dumont has style but when it comes down to winning, he knows what it takes. If you want to see stle then go watch one his video segments.
 
No style? Thats over doing it a little. He has one trick in his run that he doesnt tweek out a grab. That one trick is the biggest trick ever thrown in a pipe. Ya he lacks the switch and unnatural hits, but thats not style. Thats technicality. So if you want to get pissed at people for saying hes got style and showing pics of out of the pipe, saying you meant in the pipe, you need to learn what style is. I am guessing you are going to say that Tanner has sick style in his run, which he does, but in his x-games winnning run his first hit had a lot less style than Dumonts 12. That switch 10 was forced and sloppy, Dumonts 12 isnt sloppy or forced, he just doesnt grab. And if your saying you need to grab for style, look at Dumonts steezy cork 3's in Push, probably the most style I have ever seen.
 
i think if he grabs his shit he can win but i mean a 12 with no grab compared to a 10 with a grab i mean style should win i thought it was good that he finally grabbed a 12 biut it took him long enough and it doesnt matter if he boosts 23 feet out and everyone else boosts 21 or even 18 it not a big deal i mean if he grabbed stuff or did switch tricks ya he should win but until he does that i can say he should win stuff

its hard to point out how far your head is shoved up your ass in any way that nobody else has. instead heres the best point that has been made in this thread; if he didnt have style, he wouldnt be where he is now. so dont make a thread saying that simon has no stlye at all. this is one of those threads that actualy gets me pissed off.
 
ive seen him ski in person. not at comps but just a day at buttermilk, he has amazing styal!!!! him and hall and westers! idk what you talking about?
 
what are you talking about? i know he doesn't do a whole lot of unnaty, usually just a 5, but he has plenty of alley-oops, he does clean, grabbed alleyopp 9s these days, and has been doing alleyoop flatspins for years. and for the record, justin dorey was going bigger than dumont at X-games, but he couldn't hold it together for a whole run.
 
i think he is sick...and he has style...he looks different than anyone else out there....1260 to alleyoop 900...sorry if he didnt get a grab...but dont worry he will next year...and dont worry he will be still at the top of the half pipe game...he goes bigger and faster than most if not all in the pipe...i realized this your opinion...but i dont agree

and i've skiied with him, hes amazing. he can front off anything, trick anything. its rediculous, one run behind him shows you that you will never ever touch a pro, let alone THE DUMONT nigga.
