there would be a million pro snowboarders equally good or better if they had the same amount of money thrown at them for training as White does

However, I ski Northstar on a very regular basis, and whenever this douchenozzle is riding the mountain he gets to close down whatever part of the mountain he wants to ride it private every single time he is there. There are days when people who make the drive up from the bay area to shred cant hit the park or half pipe because this big guy comes in unannounced to ride his own private park. It's such bullshit.
 
^ seems like a pretty lame move on vail resorts' half too. although i bet the gapers who go on vacation to northstar once a year find it cool though...

Even though I would probably find it douchy to see someone boarding in a vest in person, I gotta say the silhouette that his clothes create makes his boarding look pretty damn sick. Better at least than everyone else who's shit is so baggy it looks like their bodies never move ie Danny Kass.

People don't simply dislike shaun white because of what the media says. For example shutting down parks for his own private sessions is a dick move that will rightfully piss off other park skiers.
 
How do you even know that of voids he loves snowboarding how is he a bad representative of a pro snowboarder he has been on the cover of fucking rolling stone 2 x that means more people start snowboarding and are exposed to action sports that means more money for snowboarding and ski resorts in general that means better pakrs faster lifts , people getting oaid to work or companies he represents and get to live their own dream you are all so ignorant it's not even funny .. As for my interaction with Shaun I'm good friends with Eric Jackson and I've hung out with both of them several times . I've also rode the lift with Shaun multiple times at snow park : played pool with the kid and one of my american friend who live in manly in Sydney where I live grew up 2 doors down from him .. He's a nice guy he's just socially akward . You would be to if you grew up with cameras and sponsors , and media hype and groupies . And people wanting to know you and always wanting a piece of you .. He grew up in a way you or I will never understand . He is a product . A robot , groomed for snowboard domination from a young age .. You have to relize we are all Human beings .. You him or I all shit .. We all Piss and we all pay taxes and are one day going to die .. And why 98% of you will call me out . You should do some self reflection before you judge some one you don't even know and whos life style you clearly wish you could live ..
 
That's fair enough and it sounds like you've had a lot more interaction with him than I, but shutting down parks and pipes for your own private shoots without any advanced warning is a dick move regardless of whether you're socially awkward or not.
 
It's called economics buddie... The resort gets paid by shaun's sponsors to maker certain parts or features of the park private, if not they get the media attention that comes with hosting such a big pro snowboarder hitting their features this = more people coming to their resort and that - more money for the resort, money makes the world go round. Shaun's not a dick for doing that hes just taking advantage of his position in the world of snowboarding which he worked for many years to get to. Sure to you it might not be fair, but hey it's life and life isn't fair its dog eat dog. I think if your on Shaun's level you should be able to do that sort of stuff if you work that hard and achieve such great things certain privileges come with that , and shaun is just cashing in on that.. Bobby Brown has done it with Red Bull at Squaw when he 1st did triple cork 14's but you don't see posts on here hating on Bobby Brown? Shaun is Bobby Brown x 20 .. IF you have a problem with it well that's fine things are the way they are and bitching and complaining about it won't change it, Again money makes the world go round, not whats fair law of the jungle.
