Shaun White ends Sponsorship with Red Bull

Meh its business. and he could get that much from another company for sure. SOmeone said in this thread something so true. He is on the highest level in 2 sports. who else can do that in the world? win gold in the olympics, gold in winter x, and gold in summer x. it just doesnt happen in anyother sport whether its "action" sports or "conventional" sports. He deserves more money than the over payed dudes playing football. "action" sports are so much harder than normal ones.
 
Fuck em they're all over payed. It's not the ridiculous money that bothers me. It's the people who get 10 million a year but bitch and have lockouts because they didn't get 12 million a year.

Sorry for the dub post, but it does happen. Deion Sanders played in the NFL and MLB. I know it doesn't happen OFTEN but its not unheard of.

 
he's a pretty cool guy actually. he met one of my friends up at northstar. he thought she was a legit skier so he helped get her sponsored by oakley, and offered to help her pay to go to windells this year. Dont hate so much on him. he could have left for whatever reason he wanted. why did mammoth drop redbull? is mammoth a greedy douchebag resort?? no. they left cause redbull is a hard company to deal with.
 
I could almost see a company like FRS or EAS picking him up. It would draw a lot of people to their companies. Plus, did anyone else notice at the X-games that he's put a lot of muscle on his body?
 
LOL WUT? He asked for 3 times the amount of money to renew his contract with redbull. They wouldn't do it, he walked.

i know in motoX they empty the cans out and put water or gatorade in there for the rider, that is why they are already open when their mechanic hands it to them.

oh i know it happens michael jordan played for the white sox im sayin no one is on the top of two sports. neon deion is one athletic guy but he will never be in the mlb hall of fame... shaun white would be in the snowboarding and skating hall of fame hahah ... he is a fucking bastard though.
 
but the athletes in extreme sports are not even remotely close to the quality of athlete in real sports...so its a moot point.

Oh, and Bo Jackson(if he hadnt of fucked his hip) had a good shot at the MLB and NFL HOF. As well, Dave winfield was drafted in the NFL, MLB, and NBA.
 
why does it have to be a drink? he's a household name - actions sports is a small market....
Red Bull cannot compete with the likes of Nike & Addidas, for example, in terms of sponsorship deals surely?
What if he's just negotiated an exclusive deal with a mega sponsor?
I haven't read the link either.... just reading everyone talking about this and that energy drink company - sean white - hate him or love the scrawny bastard, is a huge celebrity these day's and a business..... if it's any drink company it would be a huge deal with pepsi or some shit.....
 
Why would he not be able to sign both Nike and Red Bull, too different to conflict interests. So most likely him leaving Red Bull he would be picked up by something similar like a Drink company, to "fill the void".
