Alrighty, time for my own little rant. So, if you ask me, everyone is making a big huge, unnecessary commotion about sex. Sex happens. You say it's not natural, guess what buddy: it is. It's so natural, it's one of our most basic instincts. We get urges around this age (high-school age, that is) and they really are pretty natural urges. Now, my personal philosophy, and I'm pretty sure that it's shared by a shitload of people, and it may have even been mentioned in this very thread (I read til like page two...) is that there's love-making, and then there's just fucking. Love-making is what you do when you really love the other person, and it's very emotional and beautiful. Fucking, on the other hand, happens usually between two people who may not quite be in the right state of mind, are feeling a little horny, and you know what, that member of the opposite sex (or maybe not) across the bar is looking pretty damn good tonight. Of course if this is referring to high school then it's not taking place in a bar, it's taking place at some party or something. Anyways, maybe we should just go back and figure out why sex is such a big deal in the first place. Ready for my conspiracy theory? Ah yes, it all traces back to the church, doesn't it? Naturally, the church made sex out to be an evil thing, and now it's seen as a pretty big deal, even though it's no bigger a deal than following that urge to pour yourself some Cheerio's in the morning.
So, in the end of it all, what am I saying? Don't worry so much about sex, if you get laid, awesome, if you don't feel like fucking some STD-ridden skank, also awesome. In my opinion, if it feels good, do it. Why else do you ski? Not because everyone thinks it's cool, or macho, or expected, but because you like to. Why shouldn't sex be the same way?
