yeah i'm trying to find a huge like 24mm+ sway bar for it the pitch in the back is bad, also the strut bar for the front to stiffn things up a bit. I was also thinking the same thing about painting the second tone the peril white, i think it would look soo dope, put a pair of 18inch 5 - 10 spoke bronze rims oh my. also trying to find a pair of 98-01 subaru legacy headlights from Japan, they look the same but there is no amber reflector, actually no reflector at all. but no luck with that.

well, as for the headlights, you could always go DIY on that... you just run the risk of destroying your headlights, but lots of guys do that on their rex's. You stick em in the oven on like 150 or something, pry it apart, and remove/paint what you want. Check around on nasioc for that....

then again, get on nasioc if you're not. Its not just an impreza site, all subarus. Might also want to check out www.teamintrinsic.com too. Its kind of a little club, but everyone on there is super nice and cool.

24mm would kick some ass!!!!!!!! The strut bar in the front won't really do much until you get stiffer springs/struts. The stock stuff takes up most of the stress before the frame itself will. I've got a strut bar in my car, but as I'm just on an RS suspension, it doesn't really do much for me either. But it does look good, and when I do stiffen up, it'll be real nice!

see i'm not sure if i really want to go and stiffen things up, i love how it rides and i know i'll still be taking it on rough dirt roads. but yeah i think the 24mm rear sway would be prob one of my best improvments for handeling for now. as for headlights i say fuck it, i'll drop the $300 for the PIAA set and go with a yellow for the fog lights (make them useful) and then tint it later this winter if i'm not broke from skiing. plans for the next 2 summers are now:

*paint bottem tone Peril White to match top, along with the side mirror's door handels and posibly mud catchers (can't call them flaps because they arn't big enought hahaha)

*tint

*18' 5+ spoked bronze rims

*grill thats on the blue legacy i posted

*eyebrows

Hey, i heard that you got hit while parked. Hows that going?

My subie is doing well for having 111000 on it. I finally had that seal fixed for $500, so now it doesnt leak oil anymore. However, the mechanic neglected to refill the car with oil after he drained most of it to work on it. The result being that my car wouldnt start and me swearing and shouting in a seattle neighborhood at 12:30. I'm going to make the mecvhanic change the oil and see what damage hes done... *grumble*

yeah, some fucking bitch hit my right front fender, still haven't called insurance. Not a HUGE dent, but about a foot long or so.

Also have to get a new antenna assembly, since I had to rip mine out to break in to the car when I was way up in the middle of nowhere at 11 at night with the headlights on and the doors locked.

yeah, the whole intrinsic thing was really stupid, cause they were showing promise of being a really awesome club (XXX Root Beer charity show for instance, that show was a blast and they raised a ton of money). But of few of them were just babies and took some things too seriously.

oh, and I'm running on Kuhmo Ecsta Supra 712s (tires) 205s I think. Cheap, but they hold on great.

And I forgot my favorite thing on the car (at least, until I get the hood). STi v.5 grill with JDM pink I-badge!!!!! Got the grill free!

I have a misfire in cylinder 4, with a 14% leak. Its probably a bad valve, which sucks ass to fix (= lots of $).

Chris, are you serious? If so, get on nasioc.com (or www.impreza.net). Look around on there for used ones (are you going used or new?).

Hey, it looks like I am getting extremely close to installing a WRX engine, but no tranny... Look up my post on nwcustoms, I'm trying to get togther with some federal way locals for the swap, maybe it can be a twofer!

I would love to have someone in line to take my EJ25, I'll look into average prices of just the engine... then cut you a deal compadre

So you already have a WRX engine then? Didn't realize that! I'm pretty sure the L tranny is the same as the RS anyways, so no biggy on that! My car's got around 67k on it now.... :(

haha i wish i just had it sitting around, i'm going to start looking in to it around the time i hit 200,000 so i have a few more years but at 20+ a year lately not to far off. i've found a place in Jp and deals in Jap spec STi motors all the way from stock and build up to like a stage 4 drag turbo system, putting out something like 700hp, they also make a fucking block for the STi that can handle 1000+hp i want to see that happen haha.

Yeah, I've already got the engine, I just have to pay for it... haha

And your tranny will bolt right up... dunno about the gearing on it though. Start looking for 2.5 harnesses, cuz mines gonna be all hacked up after the swap. It looks like the average price of a EJ25 is around 1400-1700ish, depending on miles.

Also, it looks like i'll probably be doing the swap down a Steves Pacific Auto (Scooby Specialist).. the wiring is far too advanced for me, so when I have everything ready to go, it would probably be easiest for them to just have you come down the same day, and take mine out, drop it in yours, and drop the EJ20 in mine.
