Sass vs evolve chile

haha because "chuglife" was my transformice name but then i forgot the password.. sorry for the trolling

EVOLVE!

Both camps seem amazing. Pow, park, fun times, great people and an amazing cultural experience! I picked Evolve simply because they are based out of Toronto and how can you compete with that lodge??? All I can say is you better pick fast. Spots are almost gone and according to my calendar session 2 starts in 23 days! STOKED!

It all depends on what you want... Evolve looks sick and Chile is a little different than Argentina in ways that you can only discover for yourself, but I have to say if you get a chance to visit either than your stoked. I know for one thing, SASS works really hard to make the mountains a safer place for everyone and you a more knowledgeable Back Country rider. Park is fun and we do have one but if you ever find yourself trying to build BC jumps or ski off piste, I pray to god you know how to use your equipment and read the mountains. Good luck and safe travels!

If you go to either, keep an open patient mind to the way others live, and are not expecting world caliber parks, you can't go wrong.

how 'bout you do both, then come and tell me which one to do.

I was automatically going to do SASS because my guide at Silverton worked there in the summer, but now that I know there is another place as well, I have a decision to make.

Here is what I can tell you about SASS.

SASS is one of the most memorable experiences you can have while skiing or riding anywhere in the world. We strive to create a more intimate setting where you aren't just on a ski vacation, but you are meeting and hanging out with some of the coolest people you will ever meet. Garrett Russell, Dash Longe, Michelle Parker rep it hard on the coaching side, and Pep Fujas, Eric Pollard, Chris Benchetler come down just to ride with the crew...they all come back every year because we really do have a family vibe that permeates throughout the campus.

We have some of the sickest guides in the industry that run with us as well, just because they know that we are all committed to the sport. Skylar Holgate and T-Bird from Silverton are coming down this year, along with Miles Clark, a guide on Rainier, who also has a Denali summit under his belt.
Beyond all that, I have made some of my most trusted friends through the SASS network. I didn't start working with the company until November of this year, but I have known the guys since 2005 when I moved to northern NH. We really do have the most fun out of any company I have ever worked for.
I can tell you that if I never got another paycheck in my life, I would still be content working for the company, because the friendships I have made are lifelong, and every client who comes down knows that and returns year after year.
FWIW, we have hit our capacity, in that we aren't looking to expand SASS any bigger than it is. 30 staff and 70 skiers/boarders per session. Any bigger and we would lose focus. We want it centered on the riders experience and what they take away fromt he trip, rather than the bottom line.
Hit me up with any questions you may have and I will do my best to answer them. My email and phone number are in my Sig.
And check out the Youtube Channel here: http://http://www.youtube.com/user/SASS5000#p/u/5/Jon7_Hfknn0Its got all our podcasts from the previous years.
Hope to see you down in Argentina this summer! It's going to be a blast!

I'm going to SASS this summer for the first time and can't wait! I've talked to a bunch of the guys who run the camp and they are all extremely nice. I also ski with Mauri Cambilla (head ski coach at SASS) often (he taught me everything I know about park/freeskiing) and he is an amazing coach, easily the funnest person I've ever skied with. Can't wait to ski with the rest of the crew during session 2 this summer! Come to SASS!!!

Evolve is super sick. Both mountains your at are awesome(Termas and Valle Nevado).
Oh not to mention in addition to the Inspired Crew, JP Auclair is coaching there this summer. That would cap it for me. Go ski with one of the sickest skiers in freesking.
