Here is what I can tell you about SASS.
SASS is one of the most memorable experiences you can have while skiing or riding anywhere in the world. We strive to create a more intimate setting where you aren't just on a ski vacation, but you are meeting and hanging out with some of the coolest people you will ever meet. Garrett Russell, Dash Longe, Michelle Parker rep it hard on the coaching side, and Pep Fujas, Eric Pollard, Chris Benchetler come down just to ride with the crew...they all come back every year because we really do have a family vibe that permeates throughout the campus.
We have some of the sickest guides in the industry that run with us as well, just because they know that we are all committed to the sport. Skylar Holgate and T-Bird from Silverton are coming down this year, along with Miles Clark, a guide on Rainier, who also has a Denali summit under his belt.
Beyond all that, I have made some of my most trusted friends through the SASS network. I didn't start working with the company until November of this year, but I have known the guys since 2005 when I moved to northern NH. We really do have the most fun out of any company I have ever worked for.
I can tell you that if I never got another paycheck in my life, I would still be content working for the company, because the friendships I have made are lifelong, and every client who comes down knows that and returns year after year.
FWIW, we have hit our capacity, in that we aren't looking to expand SASS any bigger than it is. 30 staff and 70 skiers/boarders per session. Any bigger and we would lose focus. We want it centered on the riders experience and what they take away fromt he trip, rather than the bottom line.
Hit me up with any questions you may have and I will do my best to answer them. My email and phone number are in my Sig.
