Sasquatch 2011

Thats what i thought. I was looking for the lineup but can't find it on any of the sasquatch sites.

Link to where you found that?

Someone posted it on Sasquatch's facebook, I think they're updating their site right now but it's super slow, must be getting a ton of hits

Do you have to buy your ticket quickly? Like do they sell out every year or can you kind of buy them last minute. not 100% sure if I want to spend the cash.

So yea do they usually sell out? its at a huge venue so I dono. (never been, its only my second year in washington)

sold out last year. ended up having to go on a fucking goose chase trying to get them off of craigslist, it sucked. in the end i could only get a ticket for one day. so i bought mine tonight to avoid that hassle.

There are a number of bands not on the poster that are reported as going to be there. Most importantly:

If this is true I am there (hopefully there anyways)

me and my girl are going.

mostly because she wants to go in all honesty, this years line up is a bit of a disappointment compared to last year.

but i am fucking stoked to see skrillex, bassnectar and major lazer again. too bad no deadmau5 again this year. :(

Seeing a bunch of bands for four days that would each cost $30-70 and being surrounded by friends and fellow people who appreciate music. What's not to like?

They have some really sweet DJ sets/dance music this year, I'm stoked.

And I saw at the bottom of the poster that it said And More, but I figured they would all be smaller bands... that's be pretty awesome.

30-70? I feel like every music fest ive ever looked at was 200+

Sounds fun but I feel like if I wasn't on a ton of drugs, I'd be pretty burnt out by day 2.

he's saying that seeing each band individually, at their own concert, is usually $30-$70. but seeing them at a music festival makes the price per show much lower.

yeah, it has gone up a decent amount in price in the past few years. but if you look at basically every other major festival they have too, and people are still more than willing to pay.

3 hundo really isn't the going rate. I mean the bonnaroos of the world are out there but most of them aren't even legit anymore. Over run by bros.

If rothbury comes back this year I could easily justify 200 for that. I think nateva will be around 200 this year but it's capped at 15k people and it had a really good vibe

Yep, it's a lot this year, but they added an extra day and camping is included. I'm fine with paying that much actually. It's all the other stuff I'll spend money on that I have to question...

i live less than 3 hours away from the gorge. there is nothing else close to me that can compete with sas.

i'd much rather go to something different like wakarusa, bonnaroo, cochella, lolla, ULTRA or even outside lands; but the total cost of a trip to one of those would be around twice what it costs to go to sasquatch.

Yeah word for a "close to home" festival it would be sick.

I really really miss Monolith at Red Rocks. They didn't have camping, but they had a pretty killer lineup for $150 for two days. Plus its at red rocks, so it trumps almost any other venue.

Stoked to see the lineup for Sonic Bloom 2011!

I hear ya. I hit a lot of small noreast fests that are within a few hour drive. Usually only go to a few that are 10 + hours drives.

Gorge is a sick fucking venue though. Really sweet.

it's definitely the best venue i've ever been to hands down.

but i think i'm going to Global this summer at Red Rocks and words cannot even express how excited i am for that.
