God help america if they win but most of all god help the rest of the world! Im guna just say this once please please please vote Obama! What a dumb bitch.

I would take another 8 years from bush to avoid four from her. jesus crist.

I dont agree with russia being unprovoked its about time they slapped them around. Georgian terrorsists have been attacking the russians for a while.

You said it yourself georgian terrorists... not the fucking georgian people. You dont spank a whole people for the actions of a minority... unless your america or russia.

nobody pays attention to issues anwyays, they just want hillary clinton supporters to vote mccain because she has a vagina...

south ossetia was russain territory until georgia invaded it. russia was simply trying to take back what was theirs to begin with. south ossetia has always been a topic of controversy between russia and georgia.

You are a moron. The Georgians did attack first, within the sovereign borders of their own country. Again teenage left-wing idiots of NS prove their intelligence once again. The Georgians fought to regain control of the breakaway region of South Ossetia, which falls within their borders. The Russians, in an attempt to humiliate the Georgians for their intent to join NATO, invade Georgia.

The Russians don't give a fuck about South Ossetia. Or are you all too stupid to remember what happened with the Russians and Chechnya.

ah, i see, again we proved it once again. and we're left-wing too, that matters.

excuse me for thinking that south ossetia was still within russian borders, it has been before you know.

what does left wing have to do with him not knowing...... i missed that part.

regardless what scares me is the fact that IF mccain wins, she could become president.

WRONG. South Ossetia is a part of Georgia. North Ossetia is Russian territory. However, South Ossetia was existing with some degree of sovereignty because it's largely ethnic Russian population is propped up by the Russian government.

What Putin did here was almost exactly was Hitler did in 1939 with Poland. He kept pushing Saakashvili more and more, egging him on to make a move. He issued Russian passports to 90% of the people there. That's like France granting French passports to Quebecrs. Saakashvill had to send in troops. He would have lost the territories completely anyway, he had to put up a fight. Putin cried foul (just as Hitler did, claiming ethnic germans were being persecuted in Poland) and invaded clamining to be Peacekeepers. In true Russian fashion, with far more troops than necessary, include Spetsnaz special forces. Were Georgia's actions justified? Maybe not. Was Russia's reaction appropriate? Absolutely not. The essentially destroyed the infrastructure of the Georgian port city Poti, just cause.

Russia is trying to gain control of the last of the east-west pipelines oil & gas pipelines they do not already have so they can hold Europe hostage for even more money and power. I can't believe more people don't see this.

And yeah, South Ossetia and Abkhazia have been a contentious issue between Russia and Georgia since 1991. Just as the Kasmir region of India/Pakistan is. The fact remains, they are part of Georgia. These terrtories have only been recognized as independent states by each other, Russia, and Nicaragua. That sounds definitive.

Stop listening to the sensationalized news and read some fucking history. Also, as a general rule, don't take anything said by Putin or Medvedev as true.

thank you for correcting me, now i will not make a fool of myself elsewhere haha. +karma for explaining everything without calling me a left-wing moron.

hahaha yeah. and seriously, dont just go by the news. regardless of which side its biased to, its rarely the truth

Ah, thank you. Glad I went with my hunch here. Some big Russian attempt at securing Georgia's pipelines. Bunch of nuts them Ruskis.

The Shelling of The South Ossetia capital by Saaskashvili, was pretty bad though, to walk in and just start shelling random buildings, is in all honesty cause for a war crimes trial. Was the Russian retaliation justified? Absolutely not. But the actions of Saaskashvili were just plain stupid. Putan and Russia have been looking for an excuse to attack Georgia for years, Saaskashvili should have realized that before hand. The US needs to realize that while Georgia may be one of our allies, Their president is even more of an idiot then Bush, and has been much worse for Georgia then the Bush/Chaney presidency has been for the US. Can you believe that affter the war Chaney went to Georgia to tell Saaskashvili that the US was behind him 100%? What a war mongering moron. As for Govenor Palin, she is obviously not a complete idiot but seems that she is willing to use the gov. for her own personal ends much more then the Bush Chaney administartion has. She also is inapt to deal with any foriegn polocy whatsoever. I really hope that McCain/Palin is not ellected into office.

I just thought it was pretty annoying how she had her planned answers to everything. Charlie would ask a question, and then she'd respond with an answer that didn't even address what he was asking. So he'd ask again, and she'd answer the same way again. At one point I think he was like "so is that a yes? or what!?" and she continued with the same answer.

And I didn't like how many times she said Charlie, someone should make a candy mountain edit to that.

Also, it was quite obvious she didn't know what the Bush doctrine was. Not that I would have known exactly what it was either...but she's a politician.

sarah palin is a dumb bitch, just think, if anything happens to mccaine, she will be the one running this country, we'll all have to start believing in intelligent design and we'll have to give our tax money to building a bridge from alaska to asia, one of mankind's dumbest ideas ever, too bad that bitch doesn't believe in darwinism because it's ready to take her ass out

The Bering Straight(the space between Russia and Alaska) is only 53 miles long. Im sure on a very clear day, from some mountains in Alaska, you could see land of Russia. It's not that retarded.

when did they want to build a bridge from alaska to asia?

If you're talking about the "bridge to nowhere" I believe that was a proposal to build a bridge from a small town in alaska, to a nearby island where the airport was located so that people wouldnt have to take the ferry anymore. It was a proposal that would cost like 250 million dollars or something outrageous

at least the man has had some time in the senate. a governing body for a country not a state. she was mayor of a town of 9000, and governor of alaska. not to mention when he talks he sounds like he actually knows what hes talking about, whereas she either sounds like she has no clue or in a prewritten speach sounds like shes quoting wikipedia

at one point she wanted to somehow connect the two, it never went anywhere but like k-rob said, there's been talk of it for a while and she was very interested in the idea which, i must say, is an excellent way to spend the country's moneynot

bridge or not, i really hope she doesn't have more influence over this country than she already does, i don't really like either candidate that much but after mccain chose palin i really hope those two aren't in office

I wouldn't call Saakashvili an idiot. You try running a tiny little county with pipelines in a strategic east-west corridor between Europe and the oilfields of the Caspian, at the doorstep of Russia. Pretty much since Saakashvili has come to power he's had to be looking over his shoulder at Russia wondering when. I agree, iIt was not smart to randomly shell the regional captial of South Ossetia, but chances are that specific order came from a general, not the President himself. Georgian police were attacked by a roadside bomb, and later, snipers killed 3 more Georgian troops acting as Peacekeepers. You don't let this type of thing slide, you can't. By sending in troops he broke the 1992 ceasefire line, but conflict like this rarely has black and white solutions. I'm definitely not saying that Georgia is a completely innocent party here, but far more so than Russia. There is basically no military infrastructure left in Georgia, Russian destroyed almost everything. Medvedev said he would withdraw troops starting on August 18th. Guess what, they are still there. And not only in the disputed regions, Russian troops patrol the port city of Poti, well within Georgian territory.

There is a Russian in my office. We argue a lot. I tend to know more than most about this issue.

With regards to Cheney's comments. Talk is cheap. Hardly war-mongering when you don't (and won't) back it up. There is no way the US would intervene to save a country like Georgia. Now Ukraine, that is a different story. (More on that later).

I also fail to see how Palin would use her power as VP for more personal ends. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the only controvsery here is she got involved in the firing of some allegedly dirty cop that was in some way related to her family? Big national crisis there. She doesn't have very close ties to defense contractors or oil companies (all of them hate her for busting up what was a pretty good situation for them up in AK) and is unlikely her ties to commercial fishing through her husband is going to be a problem.

Back to the Ukraine. Back in the early 90s (1994), John Major and Clinton signed a pact with the Ukraine (and Yelstin actually) guaranteeing Ukraines security in the face of aggression by Russia. Russia actually acknowledged that if they try to harm the Ukraine that they know full well the UK and US will retaliate. So, if we get into a mess over there, all you democrats can thank your buddy Bill for that.

sooo he wants their government to be uncorrupt..... thats bad?..

and the second video i really couldnt understand.... so yeah. no response to that

what the hell does he know about politics in Africa? The government in Kenya is (or was, before this whole Odinga fiasco) one of the most stable governments in Africa. Obama directly stoked the fire by supporting Odinga.

The second video shows Odinga's connection to the fundamentalist muslims in Kenya. Again, if you knew anything you'd know Odinga is also an orange socialist (red communist in all but name). Additionally this all traces back to Obama's Sr.'s relationship with Odinga Odinga (father of Raila Odinga) who began the communist party of Kenya. Its not about corruption, Obama's support is about avenging is father's failure, as well as support of far-left politicians. Obama Sr. was a scumbag by the way.

hahaha stabile in africa. that really doesnt mean shit it was probably still corrupt and messed up. regarding the second video from what i could understand it sounded like they just wanted equal representation for muslims. and it sounds like it was a kenyan news station, meaning that its probably just as trustworthy as any american news network, with a rediculous spin in one direction or another

i dont take issue with anything you posted here, except this...

we really cant be holding children accountable for actions of their parents.....

just like with palin and her family, leave ALL the family's out of it...

agreed, palin's daughter made a dumb choice and ended up pregnant but that shouldn't affect how people think of palin, it's not like she can control her daughter's sex life without putting a chastity belt on her. it's just such a big deal because palin is so anti-abortion

back to froeign policy...

how is obama more qualified, and what track record does he have?

i think obama does need an "epic fail" about the surge, "it failed" o shit, nvm. it didnt...

its also funny how is VP (the foreign policy man on the ticket) has made his disagreement with obama on matters of foreign policy pretty clear...

i watched the first two cuz i dont have time for the third, im trying to do other shit right now at the same time, ill watch it later

but the first was just picking apart every time hes misspoken, half of which had NOTHING to do with foreign policy, and were just mistakes. the second. ill admit, i dont like that hes changed his position either, id like him to be for a full withdrawal immediately, but regardless i still like him better as a candidate than mccain.

and while both of you spit this stuff at me your not proving that palin KNOWS what shes talking about, just that obama isnt perfect, but at least he appears to have some knowledge, and it will improve.

how about the funny thing that palin had how many hundred million in earmarks? while her running mate claims to be against that....

or that bridge to nowhere. she didnt say thanks but no thanks she said thanks THEN no thanks

russia suck. i was there for 3 days and im never goin back. but ya she is a dumb bitch who should just stay in AK

except for when Obama pathetically tries to follow in his father's Kenyan political footsteps. How Obama's main quip in life is that his father never gave a fuck about him, and to find some sort of identity he goes back to his Kenyan "roots" which really are no roots at all.

you hypocrite fuck. you liked bush didnt you? who followed in his fathers footsteps in iraq. save the bullshit

except I don't like Bush, you dumb fuck (right back at ya).

I however do like McCain, who is an American hero and not a coward like Obama who disowns his own grandmother who put him through 17k a year high school.

first off.... hundreds of millions?

maybe you know something i dont know..... but the only number i have seen is 27 million...

second....

she realized how stupid an idea the bridge to nowhere was... so she "changed" her mind...

and what are salcaldo,(sorry i know i got your name wrong) and i getting at with the whole "barack sucks at forgein policy" is just that.... your pick for president IS NOT QUALIFIED..... for that matter our VP isnt the most qualfied either, but she is a VP not the big man.. (like barack)
