Sarah Burke left Volkl For Roxy

um im pretty sure thats wrong. quicksilver and roxy are the SAME company. so if quicksilver owns rossignol that means roxy owns rossignol... they wouldnt split up there company into two one goes to rosignol one goes to dynastar

Man the past three years that girl has been changing ships soo much. I seen her on K2's skis, Armada, and finaly Volkl. I guess she hazs not really found a company that has made her as happy as salomon.

i won't respect roxy and consider tham as a legit ski company until they start making their OWN skis, just like all the other companies

dude...pratically nobody makes their own skis...Armada doesn't, line doesn't now,4FRNT teamed up with a snowboard company. Dude....you pretty much don't know what your talking about.

Roxy's lineup in the 06' season consisted of 3 skis that were the same as 3 of Dynastar's women's specific skis, plus one ski (twintip), that shared the construction of Rossi and Dynastar's "teen" twintip. The boot was exactly the same as Rossi's "soft boot" design. The binding design is shared across the board in all 3 companies.

For 07' you will see more influence from the Rossi side of things, as Rossi has girl specific Scratch BC's and FS's. As well as a few more boot models.

I think that it is great that Roxy is building a ski team, especially one with so much talent. This sport needs to have more appeal to young female jibbers, and Roxy is doing exactly that. Thank you Sarah.

she wasnt on armada i dont think, that was just her year between being on solomon and volkl that she skied on ar5's and then she had some pe's also

No doubt! Burke is better off with Volkl. Roxy is an everyday wannbe surfer/snowboarder deal. Its not for the athletes its for the snow"bunnies"

Just imagine that picture, but instead of skis, she's wearing a cute little Roxy bikini.

Objectifying women in skiing? Who cares!

the roxy twin is the same ski as the TM. we got their brochures in today, exact same dimensions as the TM, which is an awesome ski for a girl. whats the big deal? roxy arguably does more for a wide variety of womens action sports than any other company, and if they are sponsoring top notch riders, giving them paychecks that allow them to do what they love, on skis they like, plus maybe having them model some swimsuits on the side, i see nothing wrong with that. its good to see girls finally getting some more recognition, and if roxy brings that to the sport, then awesome.

all of roxy's skis are made by dynastar. but the lower end model's seem like the scratch pro teen. atleast from what i have seen.

Not considering Roxy is simply the female marketed Quicksilver and the parent company owns a third of the industry now. You think Rossi and Dynastar would put up all the most legit gear for the Roxy logo this season and not be able to spare a few pros for it as well?

Wait until you see this years Roxy it is legit with fairly High end Lange boots and everything.

and rossignol owns callaway golf too. most of rossi boots and bingings are lang/look. the skis are way different though.

but i agree that it would be sicker with her on volkl. theyd have the sickest girls team since ashley battersby is with them now.

why'd ashley leave line for lame volkl? someone whos knows whats's going on clear this up? $? the answer is sooooo unclear.

I'm assuming they will just make some Scratch BC's with polka dots? It would suck having to ride TM's around all terrain if you were used to Gotama.

IF you consider the trouble makers "noodles" than yah they are. But if you did consider the trouble makers to be noodles, that would mean that you are both pompass, ignorant and both physically and mentally handicapped. I skied on trouble makers for years and I weigh between 190-200lbs...I have never thought the trouble makers to be soft or like a "noodle".

As a side note, I would like to be the one to point out that girls are stupid. Really stupid. If there are any females that would like to argue this comment, please, consider the following.

The girls on this website (who may or may not be the target demographic for Roxy hardware sales anyway) clearly don't understand anythhing about skiing nor do they actually posess any opinion of their own. Jumping on the bandwagon of "roxy skis are for wannabes" is uneducated and stupid. Why do all of you girls want to look like a gangster in the latest Oakley suit that sags in your butt so much it looks like you left a ginormous dookie in your pants or are growing a hemroid the size of a bull terrier. Look like a girl, ski like a girl and be a girl! Roxy is doing something for you girls, they are progressing your sport and bringing in a great product to allow you to do what you love and do it with some style.

that guy is totally right...

I mean they are developping a girl only line of skis.

They are investing money for girl by sponsoring girls and stuff. What do you want more? you are always asking for more reconition and stuff. that's what roxy is doing and you say that they sucks...
