Quiksilver is the only big surf companty that hasnt floated on the stock market, Billabong, Ripcurl and even Volcom have floated and sold out the majoity ot there stock to the Public, Yuu proably dont even fukin Surf so go find a big black dildo and shove it up your tight white seppo ass. We are talking surf companies here thats what quicksilver started as thats what they are, they sponsor some of the best athletes on the planet, hold the biggest comps, and the Quicksilver Crossing is one of the sickest concepts ever so before you talk shit go do some research on Surf companies ya stupid hoe.
 
Im talking about Giant companies Quik is down for the cause they help the surf rider foundation they helped out heaps with the Tsunami. They pay there athletes top $ and they are a core company.
 
You can tell me quiksilver is a core company, when half of the people at my school recognize them as more than a clothing brand. When quiksilver has billboards in vancouver, and ad space on muchmusic, you are fucking kidding yourself if you call them "core". I wouldn't consider "core companies" to be the same companies that create ad campaigns to market to people that don't even surf, or give a fuck about it. When you start to target a demographic unrelated to the original intention of your company, you sacrifice any and all basis for any "core" argument.

please define "core"! if you mean they've helped progress the sport with inovation, atomic, salomon, k2, giro, look, raichle, etc... can all be credited as core companies!

you seem to be an invdividual that is largely influenced by the image companies like quiksilver spend millions upon millions to make for themselves. if you had half a brain you would realize that this company (which probably was all about the surfers in the beginning) is nothing more than a corporation that is trying to get your money. yes they did donate a large amount of money to the tsunami relief effort and i applaud them for that but a company that has its stickers on the cars of almost every 20 something year old girl, can easily afford it.

im not out here hating on quiksilver just so everyone knows. i do own a fair bit of their apparel and i like it.
