People think that The departure Of JP and JF to Armada is a big lost for Salomon, they're right, but those people also think that salomon are very sad about that.the biggest market of salomon is the race.Salomon found new athletes to remplace those jibber.....some RACERS. I personnaly think that the departure of JP and JF is a big lost for the sport, in the point of view of the research. Salomon has the budget to do research that company such as Armada doesnt, thats why they came with the teneighty, and then the pocket rocket, and the Pilot system, and the Space frame.
The sponsorship budget allowed to JP and JF as been redirected to the race,so the R&D does.
Their departure create a disinterest to the newschool by salomon, and i guess that we should show to Salomon that we like what did, and appreciate it, it is your job to find your own way to show them, but beleive me, the newschool market is quite small for salomon, they wouldnt care that much if everybody stop buying their twin, they;ll just make more gs, slalom super G and Downhill skis.
its our lost if we stop buying their twins, they might bring some technologies that line and armada can use after.
it was just some words that passed trough my head..take the part of it that you like...leave the rest..
thanks!
