Salomon 08 is up

Oh and why would you want a true swallow-tail in a bc jib stick? Even Volkl incorporated channel tech so you can still ski sw on a swallow tail(Katana).
 
True, the XWlab is cool, not a big fan of the Dumont, Gun or Thruster graphics, the ones I would consider buying. I'm sure they're great skis, I just think Armada/Line/K2 dominates their appearance.
 
Because it's in their Freeski category, not all-mountain. It may be a great ski, but I guess I was implying that they should have a big pow twin-tip...ARG/EP-pro/ Hellbent/ Thug/ Live Life etc for pow jibbing. I've skied the Gun, it's fairly stiff, and I'll bet the lab is even stiffer.
 
its really weird with the thrusters because the one on there sight have a different base then the ones all the pros have and most thrusters on the iinternet are like pinkish which one is it????
 
They have the gun which does work as a pow twin (It is by no means stiff). And Based on the response from their team they are not going to build a supper fat soft jib twin. They tested some and the result from their team was that they wanted to keep a jib/jump ski under 110 or 105. still wanted to get into the powder.
 
the thing that doesnt impress me about salomon even though i love there skis is that they dont change there designs up much. like i can buy 08 foils but still have the exact same ski as someone ridin 05's
 
its the 08 stuff. and if you dont think salomon ever changes there shit, you're wrong. it changes every year, not just topsheet. but core materials and construction too
 
well the top sheet is differnt so if your talking design i dunno wat to tell ya, about the foil gfx not liking them, but the others look sick
 
thats a really dope suit. ellingson wore it every day at windells over spring break. it looks great and its super good quality.

Compared to a Sir Francis Bacon/ep-pro/hellbent/ etc... softer pow-jibbing skis. Yeah so their not as stiff as my 03 atomic big daddy's dipshit.
 
The Gun is stiffer than most pow jib skis, but you are correct, not stiff as an all mountain ski like my 03 Big Daddy's.

What are you a solomon rep? "response from the team?" Thanks for the update. Apparently Eric Pollard, JP Auclair, Seth Morrison, Pep Fujas, Andy Mahre, and Tanner Hall disagree. So yeah bust out a big pintail ski instead? Not progressive.

Know what else isn't progressive? Dropping CR Johnson after his accident.

Why? Just why did they do that? He was with them since he was throwing 1440's at age 16 on 1080's. Not cool.

btw, I was impressed with Rossignol's support of Evan Raps through his whole knee surgery ordeal. They really had his back...other companies should do the same.
 
yup, just posted something like that in another thread. Rossi sounds so much more supportive than salomon
