Rossi going out of business with skis?

ok well i rode the lift with this guy who said he worked for fischer and he had addicts and he was telling me how rossi was gonna go out of business for skiing and just doing snowboards and that volkl was also going out of business. It was all brought out from my skis cus i ski fs wrs so yea

is this shit true

the guy looked legit
 
well, i highly doubt it like very very vey highly doubt it. they are doing a killing. so many ppl ski the scratches and they just keep getting betta and the B1, B2 and B3 too so i think its bullshit,
 
no way rossi and volkl are two of the biggest names in skiing, not only in park but in all mountain and racing. there is absolutely no way either of these companies are going out of buisness
 
well if he was telling the truth about working there how would all you know, not trying to be mean or anything but i realy doubt some guy would just start talking to me on the chairlift with my friend about rossi and volkl going out of business and say he works at fichser to 2 random highschool kids.

idunno tho of course tons of people ski the skis for christ sakes i ski look bindings and scratches maybe theres something else going on idunno
 
Rossignol has been around in skiing for a reallllly long time and they are going to stay forever.
 
first of all, snowboarding has reached it's peak. freeskiing has not. then there is the fact that rossi is the biggest name in the ski biz. Not just freeskiing, but they are one of the biggest race names along with fischer and atomic. think about how many of those gold race skis you see. they make so much money off of racing that there is no way they are just going to stick with snowboarding. you are the most gullible, or stupidest person I have seen on NS
 
dude, think about it two minutes... it's impossible that a company, that has been making some of the first skis ever, closes down right now. Plus, they are still one of the biggest in the industry.

As said before in this thread, Rosi is huge in freeskiing and ESPECIALLY racing. To say that Rosi is going out of business you better have some serious fucking proof to back it up, and not some guy you met on the lift who looked like he was in his mid 20s.
 
well u asked for our opnions, or even if you were just asking for facts, by posting this u open it up to peoples opnions so dont complain when they take time to reply to your subject

Yeah i do not think that will happen if it does that would really suck but they make a lot of money on skis.

i know what some dude says on a lift isnt that much proof at all but its the same as what your pullin outta yer ass

that guy is completely retard. rossignol is not growing like some says, but they are still the #1 selling ski in the world
 
yes i do, i work for a rep of rossignol, their shit is just getting better. everyones going out to europe for 4 days for the 100th anniversary party. i just specifically asked him and there is no instability at all. this fischer guy might have gotten screwed up a bit with the fact that rossignol is really pushing the snowboard division but they are still maintaining their ski division just as hard. they are trying to get into the snowboard market more and to do that they are making a magnetraction snowboard which will be john jacksons pro model and picked up wyatt caldwell. thats the only thing i can think of that he might have confused himself with unless he was just talking shit like my boss does about others all the time
