Ron Paul 08 (thread 2)

So are people not allowed to notify others about polls? Is that the way polls work? Only the ones who are in the "know" get to vote? CNBC specifically were encouraging people to vote in this poll on Television as well as on the net.

Seriously mang, yes people are notifying other people of online polls. Is that illegal now? Are they holding a gun to their head making them vote for Ron Paul? No.

Watch the damn videos I posted, they basically refute every argument you have made so far.

Case closed.

Well that is CNBC's fault then, they should have only allowed so many votes. Quit trying to blame this on Ron Pauls supporters. These are good honest people, they just want their candidate to win just like any other supporter. They are just ALOT more motivated than any other supporters and there are alot more of them.

I seriously think it pisses you off when people get motivated to make changes in politics. The American Government is different in that the people actually have a voice if they get motivated enough and this is exactly what we are witnessing. The citizens of America have alot more power than the mainstream media realized.

Seriously mang, if you want me to respect your viewpoint, you need to respect mine. You dont see me going around trying to diminish all of the other candidates do you?

You told me to go fuck myself and get the fuck out the country because i disagree with your dumb ass, so yes, i do feel that way.

And what im saying is that Ron and his cronies obviously could have taken over the poll, thereby showing nothing more than the fact that Ron has a lot of internet fans. Nothing more.

You =! other presidential candidates.

You were trying to tell me that the US should become the next Sweden because you are in love with socialism(which means the government basically runs everything in your life for you). The funny thing is, you moved to the US from Sweden because its obviously better in the US currently. I told you to get your socialist bullshit mind out of this country because its not healthy for the US. This country was founded in the first place to stray away from socialism. So if you want to have socialism, go back to Sweden, we do not need it here, thats all im saying. Why dont you walk down the streets in California praising how great socialism is and see what happens.

And to that second statement, You have no facts, at all.

I see a great future for you on Fox News.

Allow me to quote what you said about me, a supporter, about Obama, ipso facto trashing him as well:

Honestly, if you think Obama is great, I bet the only reason you do is because he is on TV everyday. "ZOMG, hes black so he must be good!!!"

I mean, yeah... Also, way to use hyperbole to your advantage, is there nothing you can't exaggerate? Maybe Ron's jock size?

We need universal health care, and we need better funded schooling. If that is what im guilty of saying socialism is good for, then damn.

How long have you been in the US now, a few months? Oh please, let me send a memo straight to President Bush that some 18 year old idiot from Sweden who has been here for a few months has the end all ideas to save our country, its just as simple as that, right?. I mean, we are 9 trillion dollars in debt, we have plenty of money to pay for a billion people for Universal Healthcare right? Ron Paul will stop the Iraq war and stop all of our overseas spending that is unjustified. That right there is the first step to rebuilding this country because that is where we are wasting all of our money. Are we going to just pull a bunch of money out of our ass while we are fighting a war that costs a billion dollars a day?

Listen: I will say it again. We do not NEED universal healthcare, it just needs to be affordable. You say we need it, but you offer no way to pay for it and neither does Obama or Hilary. Like I said before, there are to many freaking people to make Universal Healthcare work in the US. Currently yes, Healthcare is pretty damn expensive in this country, but it is usually worth the money. Why dont you start up a fundraising business to pay for poor peoples healthcare if you feel so strongly about it?

Seriously, fuck you for trying to diminish Ron Paul. Ron Paul is the only DOCTOR currently running for President. He has given FREE healthcare to people who cant afford it in the past. He understands the healthcare system far greater than some 18 year old idiot from Sweden. He has delivered 4000 babies into the world, he has worked in Hospitals. Its one thing to preach about what we need and all this bullshit, and its another to actually do it. Has Obama or Hilary ever been a doctor? No.

If you want to make a thread about how great Obama is, be my guest. If you want to give out free healthcare, well then become a doctor and start working for free.

Anyways, there is a Republican Debate on Tonight(oct 21) on Fox news. Tune in to watch the great Dr. Ron Paul speak. You will be blown away by him, I guarantee it. Every time I watch him speak, I am just amazed at what he has to say. He is truly a genius. He is the most inspiring Man I will ever see and hear in my lifetime.

First, as I've always said, if you want your arguments to be seriously considered, cut out the personal insults and general douche-baggery.

I really dont have much to say that wouldnt be just a re-hash of the other thread. And I dont feel like copy-pasting. Lets just summarize - you think the online poll was legit and that everyone is scared at RP's hidden yet massive fanbase. I think CNN pulled it because someone fucked with the numbers. I'm really not one to believe in conspiracy theory, and in my experience, real life follows an easy principle: entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem or "All things being equal, the simplest solution tends to be the right one."

RP has some ideas I would like to see happen, but others that are flat out bad. Sure, call me a 21 year old idiot from Seattle, but in the long run, I'm just as qualified as you are in terms of knowing what would be good for this country. And finally, fuck you for trying to diminish other candidates. I'm sure they're nothing in your jaded and slanted eyes, but come on, try some empathy sometime. Or not, continue to be an asshole and see how many people run to your great ideas.

Ron Paul at the debate that was tonight on Fox news (oct 21,2007)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UoUqaRZBs5I

By the way, Hannity got owned so damn hard many times by Colmes as well as Dr. Paul.

I think he's right about some common things but come on, leaving NATO and the UN? Get rid/"Reform" The CIA/FBI and other government companys? It's like this guy wants to tear everything out, and isolate the U.S. from the rest of the world.

Very true. We need to stop frivolous law suits and keep the government out of our medical system to see a price fall rather than an increase.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT

ITS MONEY BOMB DAY!

$1 MILLION DOLLARS RAISED IN 3 HOURS ALREADY

DONATE $100

BE A PART OF HISTORY AND DONATE

LETS MAKE RON PAUL THE POLITICIAN IN HISTORY TO RAISE THE MOST MONEY IN ONE DAY.

IF 100,000 PEOPLE DONATE, THAT IS 10 MILLION DOLLARS :D

BY DONATING MONEY IS THE ONLY WAY HE IS GOING TO WIN, IM DEAD SERIOUS

Click on the link in my sig to get to site.

This is incredible to see this happening. This is definitely going down in the history books. Support this man, he is going to end the Iraq War and so many other great things for humanity and our country. He truly has started a New-Age Revolution. Its good to be alive right now.

I agree, America is playing world police.

I think America SHOULD play world police, we're the superpower therefore I agree that we take on some responsibility for our world. It's like America is the mother, and every other country are children and some of the kids want to play with lighters but America takes the lighters away for their own good and the good for others. The kids get angry, rebel, throw tantrums whatever but Momma America puts them in their place.

If you think America is "controlling" the world by force don't respond to my post.

alright. i loved earlier skiierman and el gatos arguements about kyoto and immigrants of the illegal persuasion. i fully agree here. ive done a good amount of research and wrote some papers on kyoto. i should be posting one on here, but instead im going to be lazy and summarize it...i dont support kyoto, either does america. good.

i so far am pretty stoked about ron paul. great attitude, and a hell of a lot better than the other candidates out for my affection. buuuuuttt i dont see eye to eye with the lack of taxes/IRS. i really really would love to see a plan here.

the military budget? police and other public servants on government pay that we really fucking need to keep shit in line? money for education? they need to get paid. they need to exist.

i dont want to still be typing in bold, but whatever i dont know how to turn it off.

what are we going to do without taxes? i need a plan.

do away with social security. guess you should have worked a little harder and not dropped out of high school. bitch.

the lack of gun control, drug laws (ive been advocating this for a long time. it would end gang violence and weed out the crack addicts sucking our nation down) and censorship appeal to me because im a kid and am easily stimulated by this promise of freedom, but honestly if i was a parent...i think id be singing a whole nother tune.

lets see where this guy goes....we have a year

check out the latest rasmussen poll in nh. this is rasmussen, so you can't really deny it's legitimacy. paul is polling at 14% - 3rd place - among likely republican voters. that's a big deal, especially considering that "likely republican voters" doesn't cover a lot of his support base, particularly in new hampshire. nh has unusual primary voting rules that allow independents to vote in either primary, and the state is heavily dominated by independents (about 40% i think). so, long story short, things look very good for ron paul in the new hampshire primary.
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/pub...lection_2008_new_hampshire_republican_primary

Jesus fucken christ! why did you have to say something so incredibly dumb? that made me cringe, Fuck ron paul and fuck your fucken "founding fathers"! bunch of insane rapists with a death urge comparable to nothing.

Haha, I was actually rooting for him in the debate tonight, he made the Republican side look like absolute fools, him included.

ron paul doesnt have the nerve to be the president of the united states. What happens when a bombing happens on US soil. Will he stutter our enemies to death?

Dude......Ron Paul has served in the Military. I would say he knows 'war' better than any other candidate except perhaps McCain. If the US has its defenses up, NOBODY is going to be bombing us. And if they do, Ron Paul knows what to do, its not that hard, if he knows which country attacked us. If its just a group of terrorist thugs and not a country though, what do you do? Declare War on terrorist thugs in the world? You cannot declare war on a a group of people and not a country. Please quit with the scaremongering and trying to make everyone think there is a bomb around every corner...

Im sure if someone happened to bomb us, Ron Paul would converse with the US intelligence and Military Leaders and make a smart decision. That is why the President has MANY people working with him. He cannot do everything by himself. It all depends on the people the President has around him and how smart and rational they are.

i respect your unparalleled loyalty to ron paul, and no im not trying to "scaremonger". I was speaking metaphorically in my post. I don't think he has the characteristics to be an effective leader. He is not articulate, and i think the way he speaks is disorganized. He is the kind of person i can see folding under pressure. Yes, he would converse with US Intelligence.....CIA maybe? Not likely, seeing has how he wants to eliminate it.

Ron Paul also is a doctor. You cannot just "fold" on that job and just tell someone, "WEll shit! Looks like your going to die, sorry budd, Im just going to give up now!" Being a doctor, you deal with very serious issues every single day where you are dealing with peoples lives.

Of course, he would not put our troops in harms way over nothing so he is going to make a very educated decision. Ron Paul is not going to get rid of the CIA his first day on the job. Anyways, there are many other intelligence agencies, some we may not even know about. Yes, he may get rid of the CIA eventually, I think his intention is to try and reform it and make it better. HIs reasoning being, if the CIA cannot even stop an attack like 9/11, why the fuck even have them?

^^Many people can go out and become doctors, it's not that difficult if you have the money and apply yourself.

However, it is very rare to become the Editor of the Harvard Law Review.

Paul won't win the brains competition. Obama will.

Of the dems I like Obama but to me putting the federal government in charge of health care is like putting the fox in charge of the chicken coup

Selection For Harvard Law Review Editors from WikipediaUsing a competitive process that takes into account first-year grades, an editing exercise, and a written commentary on a court decision, The Harvard Law Review selects between 41 and 43 editors annually from the second-year Law School class, which numbers 560.

Two editors from each of first-year class's seven sections (fourteen in all) are selected half by their first year grades and half by their scores on the writing competition. Another twenty are selected solely on their scores on the writing competition. The other seven to nine are selected by a discretionary committee, either to fulfill the review's race-based affirmative action program, to select students who just missed the cut by either of the other two processes, or by some other criteria as the committee sees fit.

That doesnt sound very prestigous to me. Read what I underlined too by the way. Im not saying Barak isnt intelligent, but I doubt many black people make it as far as him.

^^Paul is definitely my favorite republican, i love his drug law ideologies...ha but the only thing i don't like is how extreme he is, if we want to become the kind of almost government-less America, we can't just do it overnight. Like right now, we can't get rid of the IRS overnight like Paul wants to. I would be down to legalize weed though that would be sick as fuck.

believe it or not the government used to be much smaller. many of our current programs were created during the last century. Ron Paul wants to get us back to how america was founded. Small government where the people live their own lives without the feds taking half their check

That's an awesome idea, but with the state that America is in right now, and how extreme it has gotten with government control thanks to GW Bush, and how much more crime is going on today than it was before in the times that our country was founded in, I don't think that we will be able to make that transformation anytime soon.

The only reason we have so much crime is because of extreme regulation. We need to get rid of current drug laws and make the laws basically like alcohol. I don't think the transformation could be overngith but in 4 years it could be possible.

You're making a good point that he is a doctor and that he may not fold under pressure. But there are certain things about him that when he speaks, he's uneasy, and it seems to me he lacks confidence, and i often find him yelling whenever he's saying something. There are a million other things the CIA does, and i think even the thought of gradually getting rid of it is ridiculous. The way we know that the rest of the world isn't going ape shit on us isnt becuase of what happens, its what doesn't happen that matters. The CIA knows things, they have administrators, records, managers, branches, programs, that they have been running for 60 years. Imagine how hard it is to present all that shit to president after president in a way that they can understand it. Ron Pauls foreign policy scares me. There are things in the CIA that you and I aren't allowed to know, and things that can't be disclosed to Ron Paul and the 22nd Texas Congressional district. And im afraid he doesn't understand that. There are things that go on in the CIA that he may deem "unconstitutional" but the The Const. was written in 1787, i am aware of amendmants but Ron Paul needs to see things in a different perspective, this is not the world of 1800 when we fought on horseback and muskets. This is not 1900 where we just started using automatic firearms and jeeps. This is 2007 the time of nuclear bombs, snipers that can shoot accuratly from 3 km away, and threats to this country that are unprecedented. Ron Paul wants to leave Iraq, thats not finishing the job, thats leaving it half done. What's going to happen when we leave Iraq destroyed, in ruins, with no gov. system and no infrastructure. no nothing? Terrorist organizations like Al Queda take shelter in ruined middle eastern countries. Why was the US supporting warlords in somalia? so al queda wouldnt come and direct all there hate to the US and our allies and take shelter ther. Does it look like afganistan has an infrastructure? no. thats why Al Queda is breeding terrorists there. because noone will do anything about it. If we leave Iraq, Al Queda will come in, and it will serve as a new breeding ground for terrorists. They will say to the youth, hey look what the americans did the your country, come join us in the name of god, and fight them. and everything will start all over again.

...so because we are regulating gangs too much, they are committing crimes??

Imagine if we let gangs do whatever the fuck they wanted.

we regulate drugs too much. The reason there is gang warfare is because drugs are illegal. If we made it so it was something you could just buy at the drug store that would put the gangs and their territories out of business. They have a monopoly on illegal drugs right now. The best way to get rid of drug crime is to get rid of drug laws

There are many, many people who are not in gangs who grow and sell massive quantities of marijuana.

he only talks about closing hte border.  without cheap labor, us white lazy americans wont know what to do

mccain is the best bet for republicans, id vote obama

You sound so fucking stupid.

dennis kucinich in 2008 fools.
creepy asian dude who used to live in his car, and had a hit placed on his life by the chicago mafia for not selling the power plant to them.
badass.

OMFG THE T's ARE GONNA RUSH LONG A AND CATCH FUCKING HEADSHOTS AT OUR FUCKING SPAWn WIF AWP's!!!!11

Since when does Iraq have nuclear bombs? And do think that there are a bunch of terrorists running around the city with sniper rifles or some shit? HALF DONE?! Putting troops in Iraq isnt half the job. I hope you dont honestly think that if we stay in Iraq long enough we are gonna get shit done.

^ so what if t's rush long a, thats a terrible strat anyway, we'll just camp spawn and bombsite, flash the back straight, and have a couple ringers rush cat and get em from behind. ct's FTMFW!!! IRAQI INSURGENTS ##BADD## baddies!!

thank you. the job in iraq will NEVER be done. the people there are raised to act the way they do. there will always be terrorist groups, if we get rid of one, another will form. all we are doing is getting killed over there, and solving nothing.

Ron Paul on CNN"s Morning show 1-7-2008

flash_video_placeholder.png

Paul on CNN's Wolf Blitzer 1-6-08

Also, check this outhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WxldrCsVByA-The Ron Paul Town Hall meeting where people get to ask questions in person. Its nice and long and seriously, you need to watch it. Ron Paul is an educator of the highest degree. I would love to have a president where I actually learned something from him and generally looked up to him like I do Paul. Even if he doesn't win, there is alot to be learned from this man.

Im glad Ron Paul wasnt at the stupid Faux Forum last night. These forums are a shit show where the idiot candidates get to interrupt everyone and talk over people and just generally be a deush. They argue who raised how many taxes and blah blah blah, these so called 'front runners' are seriously con artists.

Anyways, WATCH JAY LENO TONIGHT, RON PAUL WILL BE ON HIS SHOW AGAIN :D

New Hampshire votes tonight at 12:00

If you are from New Hampshire, please get down to vote, apparently anyone can vote for whoever they want. This is serious, get down there and vote for Paul. This is yours and my future at stake here. I trust in you New Hampshire Paul supporters to get the job done :). We need to rally the troops so if you are in NH, call every person you know and make them vote!
