I was just wondering how to throw a rodeo, cause im confused between that and a misty. If someone could explain how to do a rodeo that would be sweet. thanks

 
it's like a backflip but you're rotating while youdo it kinda, that's how i had it explained to me. can't do it though. so maybe you shouldnt listen to me.

Here: Rodeo = Misty but thrown backwards instead of forwards like a Misty. Just think of it as a backflip with a spin in the rotation. Like a misty is a frontflip with a spin in the rotation.

humm, rodeo is a lincoln loop with spin after it , not a backflip spinny thing.

Yeah, kinda an off axis lincon with a spin midway through, everyones definition varies though.

not really, the lincoln in a underflip is in the middle of the spin and a rodoe the you dont spin till later, they look nothing alike

you all are right pretty much, lots of people throw/define rodeos in different capacities. Anyhow, pop off the jump with your kind of forward (ie shins against the tounge of your boot), then 'throw' yourself back and to the side that feels right to you, it will feel sort of like an off axis backflip, which is pretty much what it is. You will feel yourself come around (upright), about the time you see your landing and do a 180, but try to be fluid about it. Another way to do it (although not everyone sees these as rodeos) is to throw a lincoln 180, this is different from an underflip in that an underflip is pretty much 90* spin, lincoln 90. The former method is used by kristi, easily noticable in any of the movies.

i figured out rodeos by myself. i just thought of it this way, maybe it will work for you: 'When you do a backflip, you're doing it straight back, at a 12:00 angle (on a clock). To try a rodeo, just try doing a backflip at the 10:00 axis. it will be a sideways backflip, then in the last third of the spin, you'll rotate a 180 and land.' Just try it and then you'll understand.

And to those of you who are saying 'Lincoln 540,' there is no such thing. a lincoln is just a flip, spins aren't added to it. what most people think a lincoln 180 is, is usually a rodeo 5, or sometimes a misty 5, but those are thrown forward.

an underflip defnitely isnt a backflip and a spin, its a 90 to lincoln loop to 270 out
