Revision Messed Up

this whole thing is a shame and it's a total joke that they havent handled it better re: communication with customers

but it's funny how NS's resident grinches like you are soo into this thread, just delighted to have something to hate on. even better cause i highly doubt youve ever even seen a revision ski in person let alone ridden them

I watched one break in half at Stevens Pass one day.

No matter how bad shit is there's no excuse for not communicating to your customers.

Shame.

Funny how you are quoting someone who has actually dealt with ski manufacturing, and customer communication.

yeah that was probably mine

after considerable bitching and moaning they sent me another pair in accordance with their warranty at the time (last year about feb/march)

the replacement shits have been very lit and have 0 edge cracks after tons of use

shame the company is fucking up so bad, i actually am a big fan of the skis themselves

revision, if you ever consider giving a shit again, give me the company. refunds will not be issued, but you can bet the new topsheet on the 2017 Sauce Posse Promodel will be some heat

Shit happens....and if they would have had a tiny ounce of customer service and answered a single phone call, email, and not shut down all of their social media they wouldn't be getting this backlash.

It's been 5 months. They shut down social media. They stopped answering calls and emails. Everybody that bought a ski should 100 percent call their bank and get the charges reversed.

Please tell me one reason they shouldnt. Because 3 months ago they sent one email that said the skis should be here 3 weeks ago? Oh...wait that was coming up on a month ago.

they should be understanding if you've worked with that kinda of stuff i bet they've dealt with kids flipping tits like everyone here is doing. it happens what ive learned is this stuff happens if you be cool about it and be understanding most company's will hook it up. i know this is a slightly different situation .company's can't make stuff and have it be prefect 100% the time they are a new company too.can you imagine the money they are losing having to remake all the skis and a bunch of kids are bashing them in the process.

everyone has the same question thought that would suck to answer the same thing over and over they should just give updates/blog.so i was told my homie said they have the skis done but have to send em to a warehouse first before they send em out that was like 2 weeks ago .

inb4 Revision signs in to say they have been working on the oil patch the last 4 months to save the company and send everyone their skis and that they have only been eating Ramen, then everyone turns around and loves them.

So they are too lazy. Word good to know! Also where Excactly is this blog you are talking about? And why would they have n9t send an email to the blog that says the updates will be posted here?

They said skis will be shipping early january. That means to your house not from china. They 100 percent should have specified that the skis would be leaving China early January. That's bullshit in my book. And quite obviously everybody else's book but yours

Holy shit, you're English and grammar is giving me cancer, and it's not even my first language. Also your point is ridiculous, Revision messed up so bad it's not even funny anymore. Your attempts to defend their actions are pathetic.

I would really like to take you up on this offer

I emailed info@momentskis.com and i just want to learn more about the Frankesnki

Also anyone have any experience with the Frankenski? I want to know a lot about this ski before i make a decision

Proud owner of Frankenskis. They are pretty bombproof, I ski in Michigan so there is no shortage of rocks and branches underneath the snow and no shortage of rail gardens and they have held up great.

They are pretty stiff which means they have a lot of pop, which in turn makes them a super fun ski to ride. I have had a couple of awkward bails that would have broken other skis, but the Frankenskis just pop right back.

They carve nicely as well, I entered into a few races for shits and giggles (slalom and gs I think...I don't race) and there was little to no chatter and they were amazing stable and held edge overall.

The graphics are beautiful and the interesting shape catches everyone's eye on the mountain. Tbh I have no complaints about them and would encourage you to pickup a pair.

And here lies the problem. Everyone tried to pick up a pair. Hell, they even sent the company hundreds of dollars 5 months ago.

Frankenskis are moments not revision you obviously don't know what the fuck your talking about

Doesn't anyone on here know someone involved with the company that they could directly contact? Ns is pretty big someone has to know someone

Last time I checked Frankenskis are made by Moment, not Revision. Do your homework

I couldn't find any info from google searching for individual contact info or company emails.

The co-founders are Bill Wanrooy and David Bartels, they amazingly do not have Revision Skis listed in their linkedin profiles, which is super sketchy, if I founded a company I'd have that shit plastered everywhere. However, one of them forgot to take the revision website off of his contact info. If you guys want me to I can send them polite message (so they'd be more likely to respond) through linkedin but it'd probably get ignored based on their past actions. I'm pretty sure they still are owners as reddy yeti did a podcast with them like 2 months ago.

The proper course of action for everyone who has bought skis and hasn't yet gotten a refund or had their bank reverse the transaction would be to fill out an FTC complaint (link below) . To do this select "Internet Services, Online Shopping, or Computers" then "Online Shopping" and fill out the remainder of the complaint. Be sure to state they have not responded to any emails regarding when the skis would be shipped in the comments section.

Frankenskis are made by moment and not revision? Have you read this thread?

I'm part of a group run by Revision and we just got this message from them:

"Obviously the shipping situation of our skis has been an absolute nightmare and I understand your frustrations. It has been a challenging time for us as our business has experienced rapid growth, while unfortunately coinciding with supply chain issues. We have been heads down getting our hands around these issues and building up processes and plans going forward to make sure this never happens again. All skis are en route and beginning to roll into our warehouse via sea and air shipments. We will be shipping out skis as we receive them and according to order dates. You will see updates via notes added to your order confirmation. Sorry for the inconvenience this has caused."

So looks like we might be getting our skis after all.

Why in the FUCK isn't this communicated to each and every person who made a pre-order? This shit is fucking ridiculous.

I have a hard time believing that a 10 ft drop straight to a rock wouldn't demolish pretty much any ski.

ON3P has some pretty hard bases..

Truth ^^ I dropped 10 feet straight onto a rock directly underfoot earlier this season, absolutely sure that I must've fucked up my ski beyond repair. Took off my ski and checked and there was a nice gash but nothing that a little ptex couldn't fix. Moral of the story is ON3P makes bomber skis. This was on 2013 Caylors btw.

looks like that is just a mail box at a shipping store. Kind of odd that the 2 owners reside in Michigan, but they have a Colorado mailing address. Through some digging I found another "Bill" involved with the company, I think this is his house in Littleton,

Photo Removed.

probably a bunch of skis in there....

When trying to file a dispute with my bank, they told me it would take from 1month-6months because of the original date of the transaction (back in August). Anyone else get an answer like this?

For the $100 coupon, do you also have pre-order the clothing and wait till next season or does that actually show up?

I understand there are a lot of frustrated people right now, but please refrain from posting personal information. That has always been a hard line on here. I hope everyone gets some resolution soon.

So are we sure that this is just a really fucking long delay with horrible communication from revision, or is there a possibility they are filing for bankruptcy and we should try to get our money back? I wanna ride these skis, but don't wanna get scammed or anything sketch
