Revision Messed Up

or is there a possibility they are filing for bankruptcy and we should try to get our money back? I wanna ride these skis, but don't wanna get scammed or anything sketch

If they did ship in early January like they said they would they must have been on the pony express or bike messenger.

Or you're never gonna get them.

Pretty sure that's just a Pakmail. I bought my boots from the Christy Sports in that strip center and there's definitely no Revision office/warehouse

anyone know if they are actually bankrupt got any proper info about them? gone quiet on every media platform

I tried searching the founders names and the business, nothing came up. I'm not a legal expert so I may not be using the system correctly. Everything came up as no result. It looks like they are just the worst communicators alive or haven't gotten around to filing yet.

Good luck to whoever bought skis from them, I feel for you.

After countless emails and attempts to call them. They finally issued me a refund on my preordered skis. This was about a month ago so I'm not sure what their current standing is on orders. Best of luck to everyone, I feel like I was lucky to get my money back.

This would be a really well done scam considering a ton of publications have endorsed them including Newschoolers, Freeskier, etc. Starting to lose faith.

I hope they have read this thread and realize that this is about the time everyone is going to hop off and get their refunds. It's time to stop dicking around if they expect to stay afloat any longer than next week.

The fact that customers haven't received any news since early January about the skis being "en route" is bullshit. I received a response that said I would get updated news within the next day. Been about a week and a half since, and no such luck. Just cause shit hits the fan doesn't mean you go into a turtle shell and deflect any customer inquiries. I've never been this fed up with how a company handles their business. Stop keeping everyone in the dark or buck the fuck up and issue everyone refunds yourself if you aren't going to deliver on your side. We all delivered on our side, so mediate this situation or deliver the skis.

So I ordered mine in September, what should I do? The skis I'm riding right now are basically already in half but I really want to ride these.

Just received a reply from them saying sorry for the communication delay and that they were just getting skis into their warehouse, so they will be shipped soon apparently.

Honestly this email would make me happy if I was one of the ones who ordered, you guys are complaining about a lack of communication, well they are communicating and that's still not enough, yes for sure there is 100000 ways they could've handled this better but I think everyone should be greatful they are actually going to get their skis and didn't just get scammed

Nah mate people should be pissed off its really bd customer service not replying to our emails and saying wrong shipping dates.

I had to email them 5 times to get a reply weeks later, we shouldn't just be grateful for just receiving our skis (I've missed basically my whole season now because of it).

you sound like a hillary supporter

Dude.. one email to a single customer with little to no useful information doesn't make up for months of sheer lack of communication.

I work as an account manager for a tech company and if my work practices even remotely resembled Revision's customer service our company would lose customers and I would be canned in a heartbeat.

this sucks for every customer

i'm happy that i ordered them trough their european reseller so if they don't end up shipping and go bankrupt i can still get my money from their reseller

Like I said above not having good customer communication is horrible, it's not a way to run a company, however everyone is freaking out over not having skis, this is the first evidence in a while that you may actually get them

I still can't believe that you're being serious?

So they should be happy with that? So next time you buy something online, you'll be happy with a 2 month delay on shipping (even though you would need said thing ASAP) and having no communication what so ever with the company for most of this time? I feel like that would be setting a pretty low standard for online shopping.

Next time, get some V's so Dylan Manley can buy a carton of cigs and chicken wings, you'll be glad you did I promise.

Hope everyone gets their skis, on a real note. Fleecing the kids that support you is embarassing and shameful, and exactly what an already shrinking industry doesn't need.

Gladly. Just make sure to press enough skis next season that you don't sell out before December! That shit flew off the shelves.

Thissss. I completely understand for a company in it's first couple runs but some V's would be my next purchase if there were any left in stock.

Like everyone else, i purchased my skis back in August. I'm from Australia however so I would expect a bit of shipping lag, but i just wanted to confirm if anyone in America has received their skis yet?

At this point i'm not too concerned with the delay, I will just be happy if I actually get my skis....

Note: I was planing to go on a north america ski holiday in Jan/Feb but was really relying on my skis to get here (which i expected would have been November as advertised) before fully committing.

I'm pretty sure no one who pre ordered these skis has received them yet. I'm still waiting for mine

yea but i can still wait and if they wont come then refund. i honestly think there's a possibility that they could go bancrupt and end up not paying their customers back. so im on the safe side if my money isn't directly in their hands

I doubt that they're filing for bankruptcy because their company is starting to become well known. It's a sham they're ruining their reputation by lack of communication

Being well known doesn't prevent you from going bankrupt.

I know that but the company has gotten more orders then ever hints why they most likely can't fill them in decent time.

Good Example of how Revision Should have handled this situation:

I pre-ordered some things from Virtika around labor day. Mid December or so, one of my items still had not yet arrived. David Lesh personally called and left me a message, as well, they sent me two emails telling me why the items were late. (also a logistics issue with manufacturer) They offered to get me something else to compensate if I did not want to wait. Now that is how you do great customer service and build a following of loyal customers.

I am just wondering if anyone has received a response to any emails since January 6th.. I've gotten one email adding a note to my order saying the skis would be shipped when they received them in the shop.

I think your missing the point though. Yes, people are mad that the skis haven't shipped, but the main reason people are pissed is because Revision has pretty much shutdown all communication. Instagram hasn't been active in 3 weeks and almost no emails have been answered. The apparent owners have cut pretty much all ties to the company. I understand that they may have not expected all the sales, but they should be open about what's happening. That's why there reputation is in the drain.

No shit. What'd you expect given the circumstances that it's now mid-winter & customers don't have their skis to ride.

Nah if you had read it you would have realized that it's not a problem due to too many orders. They had a bad bad of skis and then they haven't a shipped them 6 months after people bought them

Just got an email from Revision:

"We just started getting skis into the warehouse. We are truly sorry about the delay and will do everything we can to get there shipment out fast once we begin shipping. Your understanding and patience is greatly appreciated."

So it looks like we will be getting our skis :)

did they send this to everyone who pre-ordered ? i didn't get an email

Sweet, all the Midwest kids who have one month left in their season will be stoked. I say Midwest because honestly who marks out harder for shitty 2 and done skis companies than Midwest kids.

I sent them an email two weeks ago asking what was going on so they could've just been replying to that. I would've thought they would send something like that everyone tho

Ya I guess it's a matter of willingness to wait.. I was bummed after 3 months of no replys and no skis. I got fed up, got a refund from my bank that took 4 days then went to slopestyle in breck and copped a fresh pair of k2's.
