Republican Nominee 2012

I haven't really been looking for a poll like that either since, well its quite a bit away. Someone likely did conduct a survey like that though, I would like to see it if anyone finds it.

Somebody not believing in God shows that he doesn't believe everything he is told. I would consider that a positive quality in somebody who is running for president.

That's why it should fucking matter.

Whether they believe in God or not is their personal business and if they can keep that separate from their policy making it doesn't fucking matter.

They don't though. I don't really follow US gubernatorial politics, but when I do dip in, issues of a candidate's race and religion are always apparent. It is evident that being Christian is a requisite for GOP nomination.

Yeah, I agree with you on that one. I was just stating that in the final two years he can focus on less politically charged issues and come into the next election in good shape.

I really don't see immigration reform happening, but I hope some environmental regulations do get through. I feel as though the environment is a non-partisan issue....we'll see though.

Immigration won't go through I feel because outside of Pelosi, Obama, Reid, and a couple other hard line Democrats no one agrees, even the Dems, with the way Obama wants to just make all illegals in this country legal citizens with just a wave of the hand.

And the environment should be non-partisan but with how Obama WAS pushing the Cap and Trade bill (I heard it has all but died in the Senate and House) it has become a partisan issue.

Funny, if you said that at Obama you'd get an insta-ban like I did.

Anyway, that's probably a joke, because Paul supports leaving gay marriage up to the states, and voted to repeal don't ask don't tell cause he said its unfair that qualified gay men and women can't serve.

He wants to end the drug war because the judicial system is statistically unfair against blacks when it comes to drug crimes. Blacks make up 12% of people who use drugs but account for 66% that go to jail for it.

Jews, well, he always votes against funding isreal, like he does all other nations, but I don't really see how you get that.

Ron Paul/Sarah Palin ticket would probably do well. Even though I don't like Palin that much, she would appeal to some of the Republican people

Obama may lose because he is such a let down and the economy is still screwed up (not gonna be fixed with this idiot in office) and he panders to everyone except the American People (i.e. Mexicans, Islams, etc)

Sorry, but the way he is bumbling around trying to get his stuff passed basically telling people off that don't agree with him isn't the most intelligent thing to do if you want people to work with you.

That wouldn't happen ron Paul would not run with palin, there both republican but do have some very different views.

Im glad to see how many more RON PAUL supporters there are now, in 08 it seemed like no one was really that into him.

RON PAUL 2012

Ron Paul has a tough road ahead if he runs. Everyone called McCain an old man and said he would die while in office. Ron Paul is a year older than McCain. Plus the media apparently refuses to take him seriously and give him any coverage.

All that said, I'd vote for Ron Paul in a heartbeat.

Same. I respect the intelligence of our President. And I respect the intelligence of most Republicans and Democrats overall. Of course, the extremists are outliers. Think Beck, Palin, Bush, and Jindal. Backward-thinking policy simply isn't appropriate right now. I feel like that's all these people are promising.

As for the climate bill, all I can say is that I support the push for renewable energy and wish the timetable were moved up rapidly. If we could be at 100% green electricity by 2030, we could be in good shape economically, environmentally, fiscally, and morally.

Obamas no different from the rest of them. He's still CFR and bilderberg. And his whole cabinet is CFR aswell.

As for Paul picking Palin as his VP..... LOL

Well you're a faggot. I'm not disagreeing with your point about sarah palin, but you hope mccain suffers from a heart attack? Why would you say something like that about anyone? Fuck you.

BEST post on NS ive seen in a while, It doesnt matter who wins republicans dems, they're all the same people working for the same groups. The bi-partisanship that exists in out county is killing it just as fast as the politicians. People stray from imaginary party lines and vote for who can make a change. Not just change as a slogan but actually something different.

like the little info from the creature from jekyll island as well, END THE FED

I hate to be "that guy," but America needs to harden the fuck up and stop having people pander to them. We need to take responsibility for our actions and understand that we, the consumers, fucked up in the first place, and we need to bite the bullet. Anyways. I do see your point, and I agree to an extent, but yeah.
In response to Ron Paul being anti semitic, you're an ignorant asshole. Just because he wants us to stop fucking funding the Israeli Destruction Force doesn't mean he's an anti semite. I'm a jew (not a torah thumping super right wing asshole jew [there are a lot of those], I just identify with the religion on a moral basis), and I'm staunchly anti-Israel.

Your an idiot.
The fact of a God or deity of some variety existing is not all together out of the realm of possibility. Saying that is a disease and openly mocking said believers of these various deist religions is ridiculous in the extreme. Why is it every opportunity you have you bash on religion. It seems like every one of your posts has some far left liberal inspired atheist viewpoint.
Also we have been over this, stop taking other peoples quotes and altering them to fit your agenda. Grow up and have an original though.

He obviously doesn't like religion. And doesn't believe in any higher being. To someone who truly doesn't believe (myself included) it doesn't make a fucking difference, god could look me in the eyes and slap me in the fucking ballsack and I still would find a scientific and logical explanation for it. You obviously disagree with it, and I disagree with his atheist crusade, however, I must say that religion and believing in god are two entirely different things. As to his thought being original, it my not be, but neither is your idea of his taking quotes to fit his agenda.

Why does everyone get sand in their vaginas without snow?

Mitch daniels could really help our economy, he has made Indiana have a slight surplus of funds... However they have really cut back on funding for schools and public offices... And the there will be a referendum to cap property taxes, which a lot of people are on board for here in Indiana though that is what funds most of our schools.

I love it when people don't address a persons points, ignore them entirely, then make an irrelevant point. Good job.

If we abolished corporate personhood and put small caps on campaign contributions and campaign spending, an independent candidate may have better chance. Also ditch the electoral college.

well stated sir!

Our generation should be the ones pissed off! we are the ones who will have to pay for all this money we are spending down the road. there is talk of another stimulus package and already another talk or recession (and some people a depression) in 2012. this is because we have not learned ANYTHING from the financial mess. oh yeah... we passed a financial reform bill... big deal, more regulation. don't you think its funny that the most heavily regulated sector in our country is the one sector that failed?

we do not produce anything in this country. We cannot make anything in this country, our government is "killing" business, i know, im one of them.

the problem with the government is they never "fix" the problem, they just throw money at it (which we all know never fixes anything in the long run), or regulates or taxes... it never ends.

Once the government starts theses programs they keep going and will never end. its a self-fulfilling, paved road to a depression. at some point we are going to run out of ppl to tax. guess what happens when you raise taxes beyond what the reasonable business person thinks they should be taxed? you get a cash economy. people getting paid under the table, it happens everytime the government raises taxes to an unseen level. so more taxes, less money coming in.... yeah, that makes sense.

we are going down a very very dangerous road with these welfare programs, helping out the "poor." But the argument the government makes is we need to help out the poor, for the "public interest." but who is the public interest. if you take away somebody's house to give to some other, less unfortunate person, you just took somebody's natural right and gave it to somebody else. is that right? you cannot regulate prosperity, you have to believe in yourself that you can make it, that you earned that "almighty dollar."

there will always be poor people. if you steal a thread to patch a hole in your shirt, eventually the whole thing will unravel.

im way off topic but Ron Paul would be a good choice.
