If I had lived just a normal healthy lifestyle I would be dating the most beautiful and perfect girl I've ever known. I couldn't even bring myself to be attractive for her. I'm fucked, if that didn't motivate me literally nothing will. There was this girl in class who I thought was smart and driven and straight edged, but I was a pot smoking loser etc, I was too insecure so I wrote her a love note and passed it to her, my friends ridiculed me for being pussy and I never heard from her. Fast forward just a couple years, I end up dating a girl on a D1 college hockey team (while I had a weed grow in my house), and in the end I married a doctor and I’m only a slightly better, more refined version of myself but I never even had to change who I was.
not trying to make this a life story but JFC mate there’s so many fish in the sea. You don’t need to be fretting about “what if I changed my personality, she’d maybe touch my Pepe”. You’ll figer it out.

They are older. the accents were a difficult part of learning from all three but plenty of other teaching factors went into making them great or terrible.

I also had a bad Chinese prof in college. It was also an extremely crucial course in Geology so taking lectures from someone I couldn’t understand was frustrating. I think his visa was expiring or maybe he was just creepy old man but he asked my gf if she would marry him too. I swear he was extra shitty and extra useless to me, would have failed me if he could have if I didn’t really lean on help from my TA

So there was a girl who flipped her ATV outside of my house last night. Saw her tearing-ass down the street on an ATV and then heard the sounds of plastic crashing. Went outside to see her pinned under the ATV. Thankfully she wasn't critical or anything (I hope) because she wasn't wearing a helmet. Denied EMS/911. Asked her whats going on and she said "My ex, my ex, my ex". And then she got just back on her ATV and rode off. I really hope she's doing okay. Really didn't know what to do in that situation.

I’ve got the most vile landlord, or i guess you could say land owners, and she lives right next to us on the same property, 20 feet away. Anything falling apart is automatically our fault, even if it had literally nothing to do with us, mind you the house is 40 years old and nothing has been renovated. My friends who lived here previously rebuilt the rotting deck on the house for free, still complains that it’s rotting again because they bought untreated wood. Rants to us about how “kids these days don’t want to work anymore” yet everyone in this house has a full time job. Berated the only girl who lives in the house for “not shaping the boys up and keeping the house clean” when she shouldn’t expect a house full of 22 year olds to be spotless every time she randomly knocks on our door. We take good care of the lawn and yard, enough so that the property managers decided to keep our rent well below what it probably should be. Some old people are just real fucking assholes. What’s crazy is that she lives with her husband in a tiny little garage next to us watching probably TV all day. Her husband is somehow a chiller who is totally under her control and rarely speaks to us. Her son and his wife are the property managers (ie landlords) and are nice people, they’ve even said they don’t like spending time with her. She NEVER gives us a 24 hour notice before entering the house, i’m pretty sure that’s illegal. Today was two fucking hours of straight complaining and talking down on us about shit that’s her problem, it’s your fucking house woman, it’s dated as fuck, if you hate us so much you could’ve gotten rid of us 4 years ago!!

I once checked into an airbnb in the mountains outside of Asheville. My friend and I saw and heard a (pretty sure it was) subaru drifting and then “CRACk”. Then fire trucks, emt, etc. Homie got his angles wrong and slid off the edge of the road into the trees just a little below.

NIL. Has it ruined college sports for you yet? We got Boulder down the street making all sorts of hype and money but no results. My college is now hitting us up for NIL donations, and now it’s “these players have a clothing lineup, buy their shit”. Back in the day, Brett Hull went to my school for no other reason than liking the town and the coach. In HS you’re stuck where you were raised, so college is unique when people get to make their own decision where they go, lots of pride on the line.
pride has been replaced by money, I knew NIL would ruin the sports but am amazed at how fast it has. At least we have NCAA football ‘25 or whatever game finally

I absolutely hate that the NCAA D1 is effectively the minor leagues for the NFL and NBA. These giant sports leagues should be funding their own player development, but instead the bill is paid with college tuition or state taxpayer money.
Paying college players has made it even worse since schools don't even get to keep the money when they turn a profit.
College D1 sports (especially football and basketball) are dumb as fuck and an annual waste of billions of dollars. Club sports are way cooler and more students should consider joining club teams or going to their friends' club matches.
