be a man, do what's right. imagine how you'd feel if you were dying and your owner wasn't treating you right cause you had bathroom issues, that's not fair

This began years before he started "dying". Please shame me some more daddy.

Oh man my dept hired another external applicant for a position that we have multiple strong internal candidates. Here we go again...

I finally understand what people mean when they talk about how much it sucks to break a rib. I think mine are only bruised but holy shit nearly anything i do causes pain. And apparently they take 3-6 weeks to heal!? Fuck that

I was planning to spend the next month getting sendy in the slush and really working on my yard but now it looks like I'll be mostly stuck inside, trying to avoid doing anything with the right half of my body

"We don't have work for you until June. Snow hasn't melted out yet."

Wow its almost like we could've fucking kept the ski hill open for two more weeks to compete with the big leagues in our area. But oh no we needed to blow the operation budgets on stupid shit like more signage and cool events no one in the community showed up too.

im so fucking burned out from school I wanna kms I hate this shit so much I don't want to work hard just to set me up for a long life of hard work. I just wanna ski or tbh do nothing at all.

Take it easy over there mr 1500 einstein.

No jk if you're a senior you should probably just relax and get ready for college. I barely did anything second half of senior year.

Yeah it's whistler maybe not a while ago at the small park there was a million people going off the side of the only ride on tube and I could not learn anything coz of the lip

that's a no go. It is frustrating, but unfortunately their is liability involved meaning random people can't be changing shit.

Work hard if it's something you love but if you're going to be an insurance salesman or have some bullshit emails job it doesn't matter. Save your energy to pursue your interests not making your bosses boss rich.

I’m talking about constantly bitching about everything like life is so incredibly hard for them. Kids nowadays have it arguably the best and easiest of any generation so far. Wouldn’t know that by the way kids act and post.

I was a real piece of shit in my younger years, having a latino father sorted that out real quick. Still like to indulge in degeneracy sometimes.

I feel like the boomers had it easiest. Imagine being able to buy a house being a fucking grocery store clerk or a receptionist or something. I'd kill for that.

Do not choose a difficult college if you're worried about this

from someone whos been in school for the past 6 years and graduate next year... you need to find some balance and study with intention, not just to cram. Also secondly, no matter what you do in life you're gonna have regrets about different ways of going about stuff.

I’m not a boomer but I couldn’t disagree more. They actually had to work their ass off in a time when conditions were completely shit. Zero safety, zero care for workers. No phones to help them or play on for hours at end. No influencers doing jack shit.

I watched my grand father who fought in ww2 work his ass off to be an engineer for pan am then nasa.

I won’t even try to claim the generations after were harder working including mine. We aren’t. None have been. The current generation is the laziest yet and by far the biggest pussies.

From safe spaces, hurt feelings because of words, cancel culture, entitlement, social media drama, feeling everyone needs to agree with whatever they believe the current crop of kids are bunch whiny ass bitches.

no I agree with you. I'm not claiming my life is hard. out of everyone in history I'm so insanely lucky to be living when and where I am. I just don't have a very good attitude and I never set up very good study habits and also school suX.

I wasn’t pointing to anyone specific. Just a general observation of the current population

just chiming in here, by definition if he fought in ww2 he's not a boomer. boomer = baby boomer = born in the baby boom following ww2

I don't have an opinion about who had it worse, but jesus christ some people in this generation need grow some balls. If something in the internet is making you anxious just close it, Threat of WW3 has been around since the second one and instead of feeling anxious about climate change they should try to do something about it. I don't understand how sensitive some people are.

Every now and then I wonder how my grades would look like if I knew how to study. My studying is mostly that I open the book and read trough it once on the evening before exam. This usually gets me grades that are average or slightly above average.

Your grandpa wasn't a boomer. He was part of the greatest generation. Aptly named.

Boomers were their children who bought houses on a single highschool education on the back of their parents who worked to give them a better future.

Also individual productivity is through the roof. It isn't up for argument, every generation has become more productive as time has gone on due to technological advances.

Also Christ man. Turn off fox news. Have you ever talked to anyone under 25 irl? Like that literally just reads like a rant from there. CURRENT GEN BAD. OLD AMERICA BETTER. DONT VOTE FOR CHANGE GO BACK TO OLD. lmao

Also, just in personal experience I've seen....a lot of gen z is simply more open and honest on the Internet, which makes gen z and boomers think they're whiney little shits. In all reality they aren't like that in real life and they just use the Internet as a vent.

I wasn’t the one who brought the boomer verbiage into the conversation. My point was older generations were harder working by far than current generations. Mine included

As mentioned I didn’t bring up the boomer talk. I was simply stating the facts that past generations were harder working than current ones. Which is an undeniable fact.

Productivity doesn’t equal hard working. case in point companies are laying off workers at an unprecedented rate yet producing record profits.

If you really think modern society is harder working than past you’re literally clueless.

im a registered democrat who’s never voted republican in his life. CNN is on a tv at my house basically at all times. Never watch fox. nice job on stereotypes though.

Your Grandpa sounds like a G and I'm not trying to paint broad brush stroke over an entire generation. I'm sure tons of them worked hard

But my last day skiing this year I met a dude who was a career mail-man and was able to buy a house in a Boston suburb as well as a ski-condo at Loon off his USPS salary. I'm sure he worked hard, but like that shit could never happen now and I guess that's just what frustrates me when people are like "older generations had it so much harder"

Christ man. Talk about an L. Never said the current generation is bad. I said they’re pussies and complain about everything.

never said a word about “old America” I said past generations were harder workers.

Didn’t mention anything political or who to vote for. Lmao. Learn to read homie.

That absolutely does happen now. If you work hard you can absolutely have those same things.

my cousin started as a basic delivery driver for fed ex. He’s now a department manager for them. He’s deaf, no college degree.

he owns his home and has a second home he has a vacation rental. Both homes are in Florida.

the reality is current generations don’t want to work hard to achieve those thing. They believe that should be able to do the bare minimum and have the luxuries handed to them.
